Peace and tranquility will be yours from the comfort of this charming beach house, with its wood burning stove and casual interior. The house is equipped with WiFi and a 42" flat screen LCD tv. Relax on the deck while overlooking the beaches and Trinidad Bay, where whales often play. A short walking distance brings you to the pier, beaches, small natural history museum, marine lab., restaurants and town center. The house is 10 minutes from the Eureka/Arcata airport with connections to Portland and San Francisco. The house has one bedroom with a queen bed, and there is a full size sofa sleeper. Spectacular view of Trinidad Bay; very clean and comfortable beach house. We have stayed here several times and it does not disappoint.

Great location/ocean/harbor view, easy walk to the beach/town. Recliners would be more comfortable instead of a couch in kitchen area to enjoy the great view. We had hoped the hot tub was working. All hot tub information should be removed from VRBO website/inside house, unless owner plans on replacing the hot tub??? It would be awesome if they did. Overall great place will be back and recommend it.

We had a wonderful time in this clean, cozy home with a spectacular view. The location couldn’t be better. You can walk down to the beach or the Seascape for a meal in just a few minutes. The home had everything we needed to prepare simple meals. The wood stove was a nice addition on a chilly evening as well. We’ll be back!

We loved this place, very clean !!! The location was prefect for just relaxing with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. We stayed for a few nights while going to see the Redwoods. I hope to return.

the view from the living room makes the house. The place was spotless and the owner/cleaning crew must be OCD on organization! Spoons and forks were stacked lined up perfectly as was all the kitchen cookware. (Being OCD on cleanliness I relate!)
The cooking material (pots/pans etc.) was of good quality. There were a few basic spices such as salt and pepper and basil, but not a lot more. If you drink coffee I'd take your own.
The porch was nice to sit on and watch the Pacific.
Overall a great place and no complaints at all.

I loved the crows nest. It was perfectly located to explore the redwoods. The house has the best view, very cozy and perfect for the two of us. The town of Trinidad has several options close by to eat and explore. Plan on coming back!

This is a gem of a property with a panoramic breathtaking water, and coastal views. You can walk to the beach, to the center, center of Trinidad, and local restaurants . I highly recommend!

Previous life long Trinidad resident currently living in southern Oregon. Visiting long time friends and quiet area. Crow’s Nest is on a short, dead end street with a small quiet driveway between the house and Trinidad Bay. Rustic, homey, clean, and perfect location. Well equipped and flexible space. Will stay here every time I can when coming to town. Owners and managers very attentive.

Beautiful ocean views of the bay and mountains through a whole wall of windows. Very clean and well appointed for kitchen, bathroom needs and wonderful comforters, linens, towels, etc.: all high quality! Multiple sleeping possibilities: one queen, to couch hide-a-beds and one sectional couch. Porches with chairs and a barbecue. Heat pump for heat p;us optional wood burning stove (which we did not use).
Overall all, we felt like we were in a slice of heaven!

Our stay at the Crow’s Nest was wonderful. It was a bummer that we couldn’t stay longer. There is so much to do and see in Trinidad and one of the best highlights of our trip was not going anywhere and just admire the view from the enormous and super clean windows! We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing home, beautiful views, close to everything, no need to drive unless you feel the urge. But the best of all was our overly accommodating host. As we were traveling during the storms and had road and weather related issues, she kept us posted on current conditions on roads, power, internet and options. Amazing and exceptional VRBO hostess and home.

This is our favorite place to vacation as a family, and we just booked our FOURTH stay at the crows nest. Can’t beat the news, the walkable location to town and trails, the cozy wood stove, and we’ll equipped listing. The only negative is that the hot tub is not being filled, which is a bummer because we’ve loved soaking and gazing at the view during past stays. But even without the hot tub, we thought our week there was perfection.

Really liked the Crows Nest. The property location was great for our tours of the Redwoods and Parks. The town of Trinadad was QUAINT and NEAT!
Property met our needs. Loved the big picture windows. Great shower power, beds and space! The yard is as cute. Loved watching the ocean with kayaking and hummingbirds on the property.
A little maintenance is needed on kitchen cabinets - dirty sticky and just worn.

Crow’s Nest is a fabulous place. Definitely 5 stars. Wonderful location and place. Highly recommend. Close to everything and a great place to just sit and watch the Bay and birds.

Excellent rental property in a beautiful village location. Loved the view and being able to walk to the beach and harbour. Crows Nest had everything we needed, great Kitchen, very comfortable lounge area and comfortable bed. Couldn’t fault it!
