Upstairs has 3 bedrooms (each with queen beds), 2 full baths, and a bonus room with queen-size Murphy Bed, daybed with a trundle, games, and 50"tv. The many amenities include porcelain wood tiles, Roman shades, and ceiling fans throughout, 50 " large screen televisions in 2 of the 3 upstairs bedrooms, perfect yard for horseshoes and outdoor games, full size washer and dryer, free Wi-Fi, and wrap-around porch for easy lake living. Boat slip with lift and tie downs on the dock and ladder to the water makes this a perfect place to bring (or rent) a boat or jet ski. Neighborhood boat launch and paddle boards included. Linens and towels provided. This is the perfect house for a big family or a great getaway for a special couples' weekend. Local marina offers affordable boat and jet ski rentals. We traveled to The Blue Heron for our daughter’s college graduation from Sam Houston State. The house is beautiful and was perfect for our extended family! It is exactly as it is listed on the site. The house is huge, with plenty of room for everyone! You can’t get a better view. You are right on the lake, with a HUGE back porch for watching the sunset! We can’t wait to go back this summer and take our boat!

The house has everything you will need for a getaway (and then some). I felt like the owners went above most VRBO's in what was supplied. I would highly recommend for family gatherings. The house is located in a quiet area (with the exception of one evening where neighbors were a bit rowdy; just bring earplugs). Overall, a great experience!

We came to Conroe for a wedding. We had theee couples stay in this house . Everything was perfect and the house was very comfortable. Morning coffee on the back deck on the lake was spectacular.

In town for a reunion so we weren’t at the home much and didn’t spend a lot of time locally but the view was nice and the home was wonderful and cozy.

The Blue Heron was perfect for what we had planned. It’s on the water and the kids were able to use the paddle boards that they had at the Blue Heron. If you have a boat you can put in at the Shell gas station right now the street and then it’s a short ride over to the house where we then docked. The beds were comfortable. They had everything we needed there which was very convenient. We will book again when coming to lake Conroe. Thank you Blue Heron!

Our family of ten, ages 1-68, had a wonderful weekend. Communication was quick and helpful, the property was beautifully furnished, and the access to the water was great. That deck, though! The back porch/deck was a favorite hangout, even in late July heat. Terrific hosts, great property.

The house was absolutely gorgeous! There was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. The view was absolutely stunning! The evening sunset was probably my most favorite part! Loved the dock access, super easy to tie up our boat and enjoy each access into the lake! The house was well stocked with basically everything you could ever need! The neighbors directly across the street were awesome! The only slight complaint we’re the intense amount of mosquitos and other bugs in the evenings, but it was still manageable! 10/10 will plan to return to blue heron house again!

We stayed with a group of family for the holiday weekend. The house was spotless. I can't say I've ever stayed in a cleaner VRBO.The house was well stocked with dishes and cooking essentials. The Keurig and the gas grill were not working, but that's an easy fix. The mattresses were not the most comfortable, being in my mid-forties, I appreciate a little plushness these days. I loved that the bathrooms had plenty of towels. We enjoyed the lake views from the deck, it was an extremely quiet neighborhood and area of the lake. This house worked well for our needs.

Beautiful home, with ample room for two families with children. Right in the waters edge overlooking the lake. Attentive manager and the owner lives nearby and dropoed off some gas for the grill (it was actually there already) 5 mins after asking. We all had a great time watching yhe sunsets from the terrace and the kids loved to swim and paddle board as they wished. Loved the stay, would recommend to anyone.

Very nice property. We enjoyed the stay. Inability to close master bath door and secure was an issue. Doors to Master bedroom need the ability to secure as well. We enjoyed our stay and was able to dock our rental for the day. We will return.

We have a boat and it was a perfect spot to bring the boat and spend the weekend. We had 8 adults and the house was perfect - beautiful views of the lake, nice and clean on the inside and nice back patio. We will definitely be returning!!

We came for an extended stay to visit with family, golf and go bass fishing. Great location to fish right off the dock. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. Awesome views off the huge deck. Incredible!!

The house lived up to expectations. The location was great, right on the water. The family got good use out of the paddle boards, had a friend bring his jet ski and also rented a boat for one day. The patio was great during the morning and evening and we spent most of the time outside. Will definitely consider renting this house again.

The location and size of the property was incredible. Being right there on the lake and able to just jump in and swim was so relaxing. The sunrise and sunset was so beautiful that it was breathtaking. We have saved this location to our favorites and will be frequent flyers !

Beautiful house , set up is nice for bed and bath space .... The house is in a residential neighborhood , not secluded .... The big back porch is very nice but a fire pit of some sort would add to it in the winter months . Overall a great stay in a beautiful house .
