Located in Brevard, this attractive house for $228 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. The Appletree Cottage is a charming cottage located adjacent to Brevard College & within walking distance of scenic downtown Brevard, NC. The house boasts a spacious great room with a large screen TV and plenty of comfortable seating for large groups, as well as a fully-outfitted kitchen & outdoor deck with grill. The first floor contains 2 bedrooms, one with twin beds and a TV and one with a daybed and trundle. One full bath w/ tub & shower is located on the main floor off of the main hallway. Another half bath is located in the bedroom that has the trundle bed. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, one with a king bed, one w/ a queen bed, and one w/ a full bed. All of the bedrooms have a TV. Additionally, the master bedroom (w/ the king bed) has a private full bath w/ a shower. Another full bath w/ shower is located in the upstairs hallway. A full-size washer & dryer are located in the basement. Our cabins are provided with all linens and towels, a starter supply of soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher and laundry detergent, firewood and propane for the grill.

My family of 6 came for a few days over Christmas. The house was clean, spacious, & comfortable. There were some nice added touches. The Christmas tree and decorations were lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed in many short term rentals in Brevard over the years. This one was great! The biggest plus for us was the number of bedrooms and baths… It felt like everyone had their own little getaway within the house. It is also easily walkable to all of downtown. We would definitely stay again!

Several friends gathered to honor the life of a dear friend. The house was in a perfect location to walk downtown, to the church and to dinner. Very welcoming with many hospitable touches. Much gratitude for a wonderful place for us to share the weekend!

We were four Grandmas and found this home to be perfect for us. So clean, well furnished, great wifi, close to everything. (We broke a coffee cup but replaced it as best as possible.)The master and bath was exceptional. Thank you for a great stay.

Seven fellow mountain bikers stayed here for several days of riding in and around Brevard. I heard so many positive comments from each of them on how pleased they were with this property. The beds were very comfy, the linens and sheets smelled good. The whole place was very clean and updated. The AC was cold, plenty of parking (we had six trucks parked comfortably).

Had an awesome stay with 10 friends and family members. Beautiful house with large rooms. Nicely equipped and includes 5 off-street parking spots. Walking/biking distance to downtown Brevard and short drive to several mountain biking trails. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great trip in Brevard. We were there for my daughter’s graduation from Brevard College. We had my family including my Mom and Dad, sister and niece. And also our best friends. Apple tree was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone. And of course the location is the best. We could walk to the college. Downtown is just a couple of blocks away. Now that she has graduated, I am not sure if we would come back with a large group again, but if we did, Appletree is where we would stay.

The property was nicely renovated and very well accommodated a group of 9 women. Beds were super comfortable and baths were all very nice and seemed newly remodeled. The deck provided a great outdoor space for hanging out. The basement, with outside access, was perfect for storing our bikes. We loved that it was just a short walk to downtown Brevard. We loved this house and would stay again.

We loved our stay at the Appletree cottage. Right across the street from Brevard College where we could walk our dog, within easy walking distance of the downtown and a 20 minute drive to our favourite mountain bike trails. We thought we would
miss staying in Asheville but we really enjoyed our two week stay down here. The house was super clean and comfortable and we could store our bikes in the basement. Would definitely stay here again.

House is cute and has homey decor. Several extra touches made the stay just right like fire wood and lotions and stocked kitchen. Convenient to town and safe neighborhood. We plan to go back.

The house was perfect! It was even decorated for us, which I was worried about- wondering if I had not brought enough decorations. I didn't need to. Every room had a little Christmas cheer. Thank you! Perfect location and had all necessities you may have forgotten from home.

We have a group of friends that get together for one weekend each year to catch up. We like visiting local breweries and this house was in perfect location for that. It was nicely decorated and had the basic necessities for our visit. It was comfortable, clean, and close to town. If we return to Brevard I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Our family of 5 plus our 2 good friends have an annual tradition of renting a different home in the Brevard area for Thanksgiving. This was perhaps our collective favorite yet! The updated kitchen is perfection, with incredible storage, good quality cookware and glassware, and every kitchen item you may need (only wish it had a gas vs. electric stove). Each bed was super comfortable, and the renovated bathrooms were also such a plus. The location was perfect for walks downtown, and very close to the grocery stores. Most importantly, the home was incredibly clean, and had more than enough room for all 7 of us.

This house was just right for 7 women to share a 75th birthday for four days! There was an abundance of bathrooms, huge storage and large bedrooms for all. We went to see "Mama Mia" at the Flat Rock Playhouse, had a bird watching tour at the park and an in-house spa day. Our only slight disappointment with the house was that it was missing a few things we needed: a working can opener, at least one hairdryer in the house, place mats for the table. We could have used a hot pot for tea as well. But otherwise, it was a wonderful memorable experience in which the house being close to town played a big factor.

Kitchen and bathrooms were obviously updated. One of the gals would suggest putting a grab bar in the bathrooms that have a tub. The hairdryer stopped working after a day or two and the ice cube maker did not produce cubes, just crushed ice, but we just reached our hand in to get the cubes, not a great inconvenience. Those were small comments from my ladies. One of the ladies would’ve liked more hand towels. Plenty of large towels and washcloths were supplied. Also the ladies suggested that there was a place to put and open their suitcases in the rooms and also a chair to sit on so they could put on their shoes. Basically the property was so convenient for all the activities we planned and we had a wonderful time.

The house is fabulous! An older home with renovated kitchen & baths. Large enough for all our group of 5 to have personal space but then again, “fun times together”. All in all a great place to stay!

We are 5 Brevard College Alum and this house was a perfect location for Homecoming. The house was clean and well appointed. the only concern (as we are older!!) was that the stairs to the second floor are rather steep. The bathrooms are lovely and personal care items supplied.
Would definitely recommend this location.

Our family had a wonderful stay! The property is exactly as you see in the pictures! The house is full of charm and in a perfect location if you are looking to be close to downtown. The property manager was very responsive to any questions. We will definitely stay here again!

A group of friends traveled to Brevard to stay for a long weekend to golf. Unfortunately it rained all weekend but we found other things to do. There was great gathering space in the house and we were not crowded in the least.

The house was very clean. We had 9 adults and a one year old and there was plenty of room for everyone. We never felt like we were on top of each other. It was great to be able to close the door to the stairs to keep the baby from going upstairs. Plenty of parking for all of us. Great location to everything.

The property included many small touches like makeup wipes, lotion, and body wash in each bathroom. There was even a basket of snacks and coffee in kitchen. We arrived after dark and several lights had been turned on creating a welcoming environment. I would book this property again.
