The house is exactly as advertised. It is bright and sunny and the perfect size for a family. The location cannot be beat as it is walkable to everything you could possibly need, yet still quiet. The front and back decks are lovely, giving views of the bay and lighthouse, and a grill conveniently located near the kitchen. The best part about having two different decks was that we could go where the sun was and the wind wasn’t (perfect for off season). The backyard is pretty and landscaped with mature trees and the beautiful sounds of red-winged blackbirds, and the fire pit area is cozy and well laid out. There was plenty of firewood for us to use and the kids had fun roasting marshmallows. There were also plenty of balls and beach accessories. Michael was terrific to deal with at booking and during the week: very responsive and welcoming. And it was a huge plus that we could bring our pet with us. Our family had a wonderful week there, and we definitely plan to book again.

We had an incredible stay! The house is lovely, comfortable, incredibly clean and well cared for. So looking forward to booking this rental for our next trip to LBI!

Home is just as pictured, very clean, comfortable and well stocked. It made a great home base for our Barnegat Light vacation the last 2 summers.

We stayed for 5 nights with our two boys (4 and 7 yo). The location is great. We could walk to the bay, the light house, ice cream parlor, mini golf and the beach. We did drive to the beach most days just for convenience. We loved the beaches btw 6th and 8th st because they were never crowded and we could fish right from the beach. The house was clean and well accommodated. I felt like we had plenty of space with the two decks, even with two little boys.

The house was nicely appointed, with two decks available to enjoy the outside. The front deck had a nice hightop table and Adirondack chairs to sit in while you enjoy the view of the bay. It was our go to spot for coffee in the morning.

This home was the perfect getaway, very clean, well-equipped and comfortable and in a great location - quick walk to the beach, bay, lighthouse, mini-golf, etc. Very quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend.

The hosts are attentive, tended quickly to various inquiries. One complaint about LBI (not this residence) is the level of biting insects. Take bug spray! This residence was not buggy. Felt very homey. Lots of care was taken to provide little details that added up to a great and comfortable stay. Thank you!

This is a cute, updated condo within walking distance of all restaurants, shops, and Old Barney. Owners are very responsive and have made sure unit has everything you would need for your stay.

We stayed here with our 3 children (5 and under) and had a wonderful time (despite a tropical storm in the middle of the stay!). As many have said, the unit is even more beautiful in person than the photos and has everything you need. There is ample outdoor deck space to relax, enjoy the bay views and sea breeze. At night you can see the lighthouse light going around from the deck, our kids got such a kick out of that! We also really liked the location as it is a quick walk to the beach or the bay, the lighthouse, minigolf, restaurants etc. Michael was incredibly responsive and accomodating!

We had a great 2 week stay in this beautiful upstairs of a duplex. The home is nicely decorated with a modern cozy beach aesthetic. Our stay was made easier by all the thoughtful supplies - spices, oil & vinegar, beach chairs, rain umbrella, binoculars, games, books, and a well equipped kitchen! We hope to rent again!

Mike and Meghan have a beautiful beach house, which is exactly as pictured, and I would've loved to have stayed even longer! It was a great escape from the city for a combination of working remotely for a week followed by a week of vacation with friends. Owner's parents, who were in the 1st floor unit, were friendly and kind, and it was a pleasure getting to know them over a glass of wine. The beds were comfy and the AC worked well. The porches were relaxing and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need to cook or grill, and the pictures are 100% accurate. Great outdoor shower with strong water pressure. Lots of beach chairs and a cart in case you and your friends don't want to carry them individually. The only suggestion for improvement, which I already shared with the owners, is to get a new cleaning service, as the person did not do a great job, and i arrived to find m&ms and sprinkles on the living room rug, what seemed to be pet hairs on the couch, shower stains and hair strands in the bath, and other clearly visible dirt/remains from the prior guests that anyone paying attention would've seen. The owners responded immediately when I let them know and they refunded my cleaning fee and sent the person back to clean again later in the week while i was out on the deck, but she missed many of these things even the 2nd time, and she was rude to boot. The owners also immediately addressed my concern wrt the master bedroom curtains, which were sheer and did not block out any lights from neighboring houses late at night or the sun starting at 5am -- the day after I let them know and asked whether they had any thicker drapes, their parents dropped some off, which I was able to very easily install. Thank you for a wonderful stay and I hope to rent from you again!

We're regular renters in LBI and for a single / extended family, this place can't be beat. The location is second to none with easy access to both the bay and beach, as well as numerous walkable restaurants. The place was clean and well stocked. We're not used to having the host provide everything from towels to sheets to detergent, but we found it all here! And the host, Michael, was very responsive (not that we needed much!). Highly recommend. A+++

This home is absolutely lovely, well appointed, very nicely decorated (there are so many unique and charming touches) and it’s extremely comfortable. The views of the water and sunsets are beautiful. It’s the perfect oasis for a truly relaxing getaway.
