My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights, from April 30 to May 9, 2024, to celebrate our anniversary and her birthday. I live in Virginia Beach, and I'm aware that finding a good hotel with reasonable rates can be challenging. However, the Hyatt Place in Town Center Virginia exceeded our expectations. It's affordable but offers a level of service you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. The breakfast was fantastic, the location is convenient, and there's plenty of easy-to-find parking. The standout feature for me, though, was the staff. IVY at the front desk was incredibly helpful during check-in, ensuring we kept our rate even though my card had issues with payment. She remained a great help throughout our stay. CINDY A, MEGHAN, and the entire housekeeping team were always on hand to offer assistance and ensure we had everything we needed. BRANDON, ROCKY, CINDY, CONNER, and EMILY at the front desk were all friendly and approachable, addressing any concerns we had with a smile. We even met DENNIS in the elevator, and he kindly asked about our stay and whether the air conditioning was working properly. I can't remember the names of the breakfast area staff, but they were equally amazing, always hard at work to ensure guests had a great start to their day. I used to work in the hospitality industry, so I understand how tough it can be to maintain high standards and keep guests happy. The team at Hyatt Place Town Center did an outstanding job, making us feel welcome and comfortable. I can't thank them enough, and we will definitely be back!

The beds were really comfortable. Property was very clean. Breakfast was decent.

Breakfast was average. I would have expected a better presentation of fresh fruit,berries granola and yogurt..

The property is relatively new and they have a good breakfast location.

You could hear traffic from the room location, facing the street. Next time I would request a room away from the street.

The room was very clean. My stay was very comfortable and the accommodations inside the room were excellent. Parking was plentiful and easy to access.

There were 2 people checking in ahead of me. There were 2 Hyatt clerks at the desk but I had to wait for the one busy clerk to be checked in. Also, I booked based on food being available for dinner and the restaurant was closed due to staff storage. I had to order door dash. Many restaurants close by, too bad Hyatt does not have a delivery agreement with any of them. Lastly, I have a broken arm, they put me on the 4th floor at the very end of the hallway. A lot of walking and pulling of luggage. Nice if they had noticed cast and broken arm and gave room accordingly.

location was very good, near all amenities.

one of our beds was making creaking on one side every time I rolled or changed position on it. It was too loud and would wake up kids middle of the night. I brought it to the staff's attention twice, on second and third (last) day of our stay. They said they would fix it. Then offered a new room. But it was too late and we had to leave next day. I just asked them to let us check out a few hours later, so instead of 11 am we checked out 1 pm.

Very good overall. The frozen berries and yogurt were excellent. Cooling tray for milks. Setup was very nicely thought out. Pet friendly very much appreciated. Room keys worked very easily. Cleanliness. Very comfortable bed, which is unusual in hotels.

Didn't like the pancakes and missed having waffles. Pet fee.
