Our five day stay at Nancy’s casita was perfect. It was cozy, quiet, clean, and very private. The bed was super comfy and the beautifully landscaped garden was an oasis with plenty of different spots to sit and relax. Nancy has thought of everything. From the kitchenette to the comfortable studio room to the bathroom and closet, the casita was stocked with absolutely anything we could have needed. We especially enjoyed the ambiance of the electric fireplace which took the chill out of the late November evenings and mornings. We will definitely return to this casita next time we visit family in the area.

Nancy has thought of everything you may need for your stay! I was so impressed with all of the details. From the fully stocked kitchenette, to items for a day at the beach, to the fireplace or AC unit for your comfort inside. Then, there is the outdoor space. The garden area is so peaceful and private, with beautiful flowering plants, the fountain and plenty of birds visiting as well. Make some time to enjoy the garden during your stay. You won't regret it!

This was a wonderful stay! The property was amazing and truly relaxing. I was able to get a great night's sleep with how peaceful the neighborhood is. Nancy made some delicious pumpkin chocolate chip bread upon welcoming. This property has everything you need for a short stay. I forgot a dress in the closet and Nancy will willing to mail it back to me! I highly recommend this getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nancy's Casita. In town for a wedding, the pictures of the ground lured me to this site and they did not disappoint! Just as charming as the pictures suggest and very quiet. We enjoyed a bottle of wine one evening while sitting on the swing, and had coffee a couple of mornings while roaming the grounds, looking at all of the whimsy and details Nancy's created. The Casita is clean, spacious and comfortable. Everything you need is provided, including beach chairs and towels which came in handy. We will definitely stay again.

If you are reading this & you are the type of person that basis their stay off of feed back then you should not look any further. If you want beautiful,private,quiet and a place that has everything and made with love a touch home then this is a place for you. The beaches and shopping are close and if you have a day where you feel like staying in and being lazy that's okay too because the yard is to die for. Some people shy away from a place that does not allow children or pets but to be honest if you want peace and quiet well, this really truly is the place because sometimes having a break from children and stress is the best medicine. The environment was very clean and safe. The private entrance and the welcoming walkway was more then what I expected. The price suited my budget. The homemade banana bread melted my heart and the personal touches really were just well. A touch of home. My only complaint is why didn't I stay longer and why cant every hotel/B&B be this great! I can not tell you enough how wonderful our stay was. By the way the bed was comfortable and parking was easy. We met the owner who was a delightful person. Again, I know my review was long but I really can not express how wonderful this place was.

A clean, cozy, comfortable Casita that was perfect for our 2 night stay! Nancy is a wonderful host and was available if needed. We enjoyed the relaxing water fountain and beautiful mosaic tile work in the backyard-very peaceful. Most of our time was spent on the coast in Oceanside and Carlsbad-an easy and quick drive from the Casita.

This propery was absolutely tranquil. I really enjoyed the personal touches and forethought. I would stay here again.

Perfectly situated to relax while visiting anywhere from Orange County south to San Diego. Quiet, immaculate, charming inside and out. Every detail has been thought out and provided for to make your stay special as well as effortless. Fantastic host and yes the little loaf of homemade chocolate chip banana bread -- so yummy! We will definitely stay here again and cannot recommend highly enough.

It was a beautiful casita with some great touches. Everything from beginning to end was easy and enjoyable.

Nancy Chapman is a great host. She goes out of her way to provide all the comforts of home. Her yard is a garden oasis for you to enjoy. Unfortunately, I only stayed for one night to attend a show at the Moonlight theater. This is very close to the Amphitheatre. I would love to stay here again for a longer stay and explore North San Diego County. Your only 15 minutes from Carlsbad and Oceanside as well.

The Casita was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The private patio was nice too. Close to the beaches is a plus.

We enjoyed our stay very much. You can see they took account of every detail. Everything was beautiful and quiet. Since it was a little chilly in the evening it was nice to enjoy the fire pit. Definitely will come back.

Wow, I have never stayed in a place this nice while traveling. . . ever. Every possible amenity that one might need for a short stay in the area was considered and provided. The room was clean and everything was fresh. The backyard is as incredible as it looks in the photos. The area is safe. Ubers and Lyfts were easy to find. And, to top it all off, there was an amazing loaf of chocolate walnut banana bread there for free. I will definitely be staying here again if I find my way anywhere near San Diego.

Communication was great, the place had everything and more that we needed, and the backyard was a paradise. The hosts are so kind and I hope to have an excuse to stay here again. Truly, the place has everything you may need.

Little, private "casita" that had everything we needed and then some (ample coffee; iron; a few treats; and a cozy heater). Clean and functional, and close to the major highway (#78) without any of the noise. The garden is beautiful with lots of little surprises.

Nancy's Casita was everything we had hoped to find: comfortable, efficient, secure and welcoming. Shower was great. loved the hot water pot, fresh banana bread, and ample coffee to get us going in the morning. Also loved having the beach chairs, umbrella, and insulated picnic bag.

I really enjoyed chilling after each day's activities in San Diego. It's quiet, relaxing at their Casita. Checking in and out are a breeze, separate entrance and parking off the street mean you can slip in and out. The ambience inside and out are sublime and very nice to come back to after my runs, beach days and roaming around San Diego. Totally affordable for me too. I loved it.

We have stayed here multiple times in the past and are never disappointed. The host is very accommodating, the location is perfect for access to the beach, and the backyard setting is an oasis. Highly recommended!

The Casita was absolutely perfect for our stay! Checkin/Checkout were a breeze. Nancy and her husband were amazing hosts. There was homemade chocolate chip banana bread that we thoroughly enjoyed for breakfast a couple mornings. The yard was beautiful. We enjoyed breakfast outside while watching the hummingbirds. The only downside was having to leave.

I have a unique story with this place in that, on the day the first COVID lockdown began, I was booked to stay here. Obviously, I couldn't make it and I messaged Nancy, who very kindly gave me a full refund. I promised her that, whenever this all passed, I would stay there. Two and a half years later, I was finally able to make good on that promise. I was greeted by Nancy in her lovely back yard which leads to the casita. When I walked in, I was very happy I'd gotten there. It is very homey. Nice bed, plenty of seating, a small kitchen area, shower and bathroom. It was a little warm that day (even for this desert boy), so I was happy for the portable A/C unit. I will 100% be staying here again when I get the chance to. There is a lot to choose from for virtually anything you'd want to do in north county San Diego.

Owners have put lots of love and care into this casita. It has all the amenities you need plus lovely details to create a homey stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place that’s also conveniently located near Hwy 78 for easy travel.
