The hosts were super friendly and accommodating - They helped us with a lot of our daily plans, providing recommendations, travel options, and practical advice. There was a genuine interest in what our plans were and great communication. Bicycles were available for daily rental, which was great because we could explore the surrounding areas with ease. Breakfast was great, fresh, and there were several options to choose from. The room and bathroom were clean and simple, the aircon worked well, and there was also a fan (we stayed in a twin room). The location is great, surrounded by plenty of cafes and places to eat, and just a short walk from the main town and lake. The hosts can also arrange your transport to several areas, including Hanoi, by bus.
One thing to note is that there is no set reception desk with 24/7 service. The hosts are lovely and help out in any way they can, but are busy (understandably!) and not always in the ground floor area, so you may have to wait/check back a few times if you have a question. Not a large issue at all, and they are very helpful when you see them, but just something to be aware of!

I loved everything. Mai Place is close to everything in Tam Coc. Anh the hostess was fantastic. She explained all the activities in the area on arrival and gave advice on what the best times were to do activities. Anh also helped us with all our travel arrangements from Hanoi to Tam Coc and back without any hassles. It was a seamless process. We felt very relaxed not having to worry about that. The room was very very comfortable with nice soft beds, and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was divine.
I give this place 10/10 for their excellent service, great room,good breakfast and going the extra mile to make the holiday comfortable,stress free and relaxing.

Everything. Really friendly and helpful staff. Gave us information on the area and was always available. Property was lovely and in a nice quiet spot a few minutes from the main street. Room was large and spotless and just as the photos show. Big comfortable beds. Air conditioning worked really well. Good fresh breakfast in the morning. Bicycles available for hire. Excellent value for money.
