Fantastic location right by the pier where the boat from Phnom Peng dropped us off.
They gave us excellent bikes for the day to ride out to the countryside.
Very confident hotel and the food in the restaurant was the best in Chau Doc.

Perfect hotel for after disembarking from or before embarking on the express boat to Phnom Penh, with views across the Mekong. Super-friendly and helpful staff. And it’s soon to get a new outdoor pool!

Spacious, clean and great views over the river. Nice big pool and quality food at the restaurant (I was the only guest when I went for lunch!), as well as of course being super convenient to get the boat to Phnom Penh. Staff were all lovely!
Only docking one point as it was a tiny bit noisy in my room facing the road, despite being assured it would be very quiet (with earplugs it was fine), and the pool area was a tiny bit dated and dusty. Still, the pool was a beautiful place to swim (just bring insect repellent) with helpful staff and good quality towels.
I had some trouble finding an ATM with cash the night before the Phnom Penh boat, so recommend sorting this out before the 11th hour as it wasn’t easy to just get cash out with the front desk as at some hotels. However, the staff did help me find another ATM option and tried to be as helpful as they could!

Its location right on the ferry landing from where we were taking the boat to Phnom Penh. Just about everybody stays there for the same reason, as a transit hub for the journey up the Mekong. Indeed, the hotel reception is also the check-in desk for the boat.
The hotel is pretty faded now - it could do with a bit of sprucing up - and it’s comparatively expensive for Vietnam. The food is second-rate too, certainly compared to the generally great food we’ve had during the rest of our trip.
