It was an adorable, small hotel. Our hostess was very nice. Our room was amazing and was very clean. Breakfast was delicious.
We were started our pilgrimage so found our location was a little out of the way. But that was our fault. We just didn’t notice prior to our trip.

Amazing spot, close to everything, great breakfast and super welcoming staff.
Beds are not that comfortable, felt the springs and my body hurted because it was too stiff. Not soundproof at all, we can hear everything, steps, speaking next door. We were lucky to be surrounded by respectful guests so we could sleep well.

The host was on site when we woke up and she made us a lovely breakfast. The room and entire site was spotlessly clean. There was a lovely bottle of port with port glasses to sample in the common area. It was a beautiful historic building with a lovely balcony beside the common breakfast area overlooking a garden.
Everything was fine except for these three things. 1, We had to walk up four flights of narrow stairs with our heavy bags to get to our room. 2, The door to our room used a very old key that was very difficult to use. 3, The main concern was taxis and Ubers would not drive down the narrow street to drop us off in front of the property, so we had to carry our bags in the dark and sort out the lock box code in the dark. I highly recommend arriving as early as possible so you don’t arrive in the dark.
