Very comfortable, good aircon, simple but decent rooms. The little extras were nice - the games in the reception, the bar, the gym - and being able to get fresh sparkling water downstairs was great. The location, right at the end of the A-line on the Metro, and with trams galore, is super useful for accessing all the cool stuff around both Confluences and the cultural centre of town. Both rivers (including wonderful walks along the Saone) are a short stroll away.
It is a basic hotel, at root - like a Premier Inn / Holiday Inn with more character. Don't choose this hotel for the views (which are of the station and some roads) or as a romantic crash-pad.

Room is spacious and noise proof which is a great (and mostly underrated) feature. Bed was comfy. They have a water fountain which should be mandatory for every hotel in 2026 and they also have complimentary drink when you check in and tea/coffee.
Location is both good and bad: it's good as it's very central and you can walk easily to any place in the city center, but it's also a bit bad as you have to walk through an underpass in every direction which isn't ideal to be honest, as the hotel is crammed between train tracks and a highway passing through the city center.
Not sure if this was just our room, but we were missing hooks to hang up hand towels, and as we didn't want to have them changed we had to keep them on the sink table so they were pretty much damp for the whole stay which isn't ideal. Not a big deal, and it could be easily improved I guess.

Very kind and helpful staff. All the people at the reception have responded more than adequately to our questions and requests.
Very small and uncomfortable room, at least the one we had. Very few amenities. There was no fridge in the room nor wardrobe, just a rail with few hangers, that were not at proper height for longer clothes. Overall, I wouldn't say it was bad, but I wouldn't it recommend it either.
