This was a quick 2 night trip but we had the most wonderful stay here. It was a great home base for us, we were here for a wedding so we were pretty busy but it was so cozy to come back to. Only one small hiccup occurred but our host was there so fast to help us out and he was very kind! Thanks for providing such a beautiful, safe, and comfortable space! (Fyi- yes there are some stairs to climb, and it’s not bad at all!)

The apartment was a perfect spot for a quiet stay for family members in town for a wedding. It was clean and comfortable, with tasteful decor and lots of the amenities of home.

This was an excellent place to stay. The location on a quiet street was convenient to everything we wanted to do. It was easy to drive to Westport, Union Station, City Market and Country Club Plaza. The loft apartment itself was outstanding. It was furnished beautifully and the attention to detail was evident. I have stayed at many short term rental properties, but never at one with a kitchen that was better furnished...any pot. pan, dish or gadget you could need. The appliances were all new and stainless. Mattresses were both very comfortable. There were many conveniences, like a magnifying glass, a pair of scissors, and shaving supplies that were above and beyond standard. The off street parking is tight, but there is lots of parking on the street right in front of the mansion. We knew about the stairs before booking, but this loft was worth the climb. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful, cozy and quiet place with easy access to restaurants and attractions.

Great property in one of the beautiful old homes of Hyde Park. We had a few issues with internet and one time the door didn’t unlock, but Andrew was very responsive in addressing them.

Greatest use of space, we rented upper and lower and host was gracious to let us connect the inside staircases. Would absolutey stay again.

This was perfect home base for the groomsmen to get ready for a downtown wedding.

Place was very nice has everything you need. Very room, one thing to note you do have stairs to climb to get up to it. The owner was very easy to work with and when we called him on something he was right there to take care of it. Wound definitely stay there again.

It is a great apartment to stay at very charming and beautiful the only thing I didn’t realize is it’s 3 flights of stairs but that was okay we was just getting ready for the stairs at nascar if you can’t do stairs not a place to stay if you can do stairs definitely a place to stay.

The owner was helpful and answered our questions. Location close to many places. Very spacious and had supplies stocked in kitchen and bathroom.

We enjoyed our stay. This location was great for getting downtown for our National Volleyball Tournament. The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of pots, pans, and utensils. The only thing is parking was tight. We felt that we were blocking the stairs for other people, but we did not want to pull up on the grass. Beautiful area to walk and see the old houses and spring flowers.

Easy to find and close to attractions. Quiet and comfy beds

Very nice, only thing and not sure if you know. The ironing board has 2 screws coming out of it. Had to iron on the kitchen island. Besides that’s very amazing experience

Check in was super easy, very clean and well stocked with anything you might need, wonderfully decorated. The beds are a very firm memory foam just in case that makes a difference. Overall, I would definitely recommend!

Charming, excellence to detail, centrally located. EVERYTHING you need for a perfect stay. Amazing use of space, perfect for two adult couples who wanted to enjoy a weekend exploring Kansas City. A truly relaxing place to start and end the day. Loved everything about this property.

This beautiful spot is in the perfect location for everything we love in KC. I love the interior decorating. It's our get-away place every time we visit.

Property was pretty much as described in the online listing. We knew from the reviews that there would be 3 flights of stairs to climb and we were prepared for this. The 3rd floor loft was comfortable and well stocked with the amenities that were described in the listing. The neighborhood was somewhat suspect as two blocks north on 39th street (we were on 37th street) there was some type of shelter with a group of individuals outside smoking. Also the homes directly behind us on Troost avenue were dilapidated and unsightly. We were told specifically to park in a designated area and to leave the middle driveway unblocked so vehicles could get in and out. As I mentioned we were staying on the3rd floor and there was a large family staying on first floor. There was also a resident staying above the garage apartment. In fact our first night there the resident above garage apartment blocked us in with his truck by parking in the no parking zone. It was necessary for me to knock on his door and ask him to move the truck which he did. Then on our 3rd day he parked again in the no parking zone and blocked our truck, luckily my daughter was able to drive us that evening but when we returned the white truck was still blocking us and we were checking out early the next morning and would not be able to leave. I again knocked on the door but there was no answer this time. It was late ~ 10:30 pm and perhaps he had gone to bed. I called our host - Andrew - and he seemed perturbed that I was calling him at this hour. I explained the situation to him and he assured me the truck would be moved before we left the next morning. When we woke the truck was moved so we were able to pack up and leave. Shortly afterwards I get a text from the host (Andrew) asking us if we tried to break into his garage. I had no idea what he was talking about and left a message for him to call me and explain to me what he was referencing. I have received no response. I feel as the host mistreated us and I was very disturbed by the fact that he would accuse us of trying to break into his garage. You just don't treat your guests this way. Suffice it to say we will not be returning.

This place is charming and super close to the Plaza. There is off street parking, the beds are super comfy, and it has lots of character. This is our second time staying here both times for Chiefs games. Communication is great with the owner as well. The only thing that I think people should make sure they know is that it is on the very top floor of a mansion so there are several outdoor stairs. I'm sure we will stay here again!

Very cool old neighborhood with beautiful architecture. We stayed on the 3rd floor of the home and loved it. Very clean, had all essentials and owner was easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again. If you don’t like stairs this place is not for you but if you do love and appreciate old homes this is a wonderful place to stay.

Very nice clean apartment. It was close to venues we wanted to visit. We arrived at night. The owner knew we were arriving at night. There was no porch light and could not see the keypad. We tried pressing the ringer button but no one answered for at least five minutes so we thought that wasn’t what we were supposed to press. Finally someone answered so we could explain our dilemma. We finally got in. Glad it wasn’t raining or freezing. Also all the other VRBOs I visited supplied us with the owner phone number. This one did not.

Conveniently located right outside the hustle and bustle of the city. The place was clean and had quaint touches that made it that much better. We loved the floor plan, it gave us two couples space of our own. We will stay here again next time we are in KS City!
