Where to begin! The hotel is located in a historical hutong. It is amazingly atmospheric and picturesque. The owner - Mark - is very helpful and made our stay exceptional. He was very helpful and even let us keep the room until 4 pm since our flight was late. Breakfast and coffee was great. Bed were comfortable. The place was clean and beautiful. Will definitely book this hotel next time I am in Beijing!

Kelly's Courtyard Hotel is a wonderful, safe, exquisitely located, and quirky place to stay in that it is an old, beautiful home in an historic hutong. Returning to this place in the evening was like stepping back into a comfortable, beautiful oasis. The staff was kind and welcoming, and had fantastic local suggestions for restaurants. They even helped us procure tickets. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again... wonderful choice!
Basically, everything was fine, even the somewhat small shower. Finding the place is a bit tricky the first time, but the hotel did indeed share detailed and helpful directions. I have no complaints.

From the very first contact, Mark was very friendly and helpful. He even helped me order some hiking poles and have them delivered to the hotel. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable. We really liked that the Hutong aspects have been kept even in the decor. The courtyard space is well appointed and comfortable for visiting.
The beds were a bit hard, but otherwise everything was great.

Location was perfect for visiting the city, also a very picturesque quiet neighbourhood. The breakfast was more a continental than Chinese but more than adequate. The staff were adorable!!
It's not something you can change but because the rooms give out on to a communal courtyard , it didn't feel that private.
