Maria and her son greeted me at the property and explained the facilities available in the apartment. They also went above and beyond as host providing information and guides of things to do for shopping/eating in the area. Another plus was the view of the mountains above the opposite flats in the morning. There was a curtesy basket with coffee for the coffee maker and some local snacks plus beverages and filtered water in the fridge. Internet was fast and reliable. There was also a washing machine for those who may need it. A clean apartment only walking distance to Ipaneama beach(very close), what more do you want?
As a beach city, you may hear the occasional motorbike engine(unavoidable in Rio unless you are staying on a 8th floor or higher in a hotel)

El departamento está muy bien ubicado, en un barrio bonito. Es fiel a las fotos. Anfitriones amables y hospitalarios.
Extremadamente ruidoso por las noches, no tiene aislamiento sonoro. Tuvimos utilizar tapones para los oídos para poder dormir.
