About this house rental
Our 3br/2ba gorgeous cabin in Piney Flats, Tennessee offers complete serenity, but is minutes away from Bristol Motor Speedway, Rhythm & Roots Reunion, ETSU, and central to all of the Tri-Cities! Boone Lake home. Less than an hour to skiing and Appalachian Trail. Mountain feel with privacy. Enjoy the scenery on the front deck and roast marshmellows by the fire pit. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level as well as a full bath, kitchen, and living room. So if you have problems going up stairs, this cabin accomodates you as well.NO ANIMALS of any kind are allowed. The property is allergy free due to owner's family being highly allergic to animal hair, dander, feathers and the like. This poses a severe health hazard to host's family members and therefore there are no exceptions to this rule. You will not be allowed to check in, your reservation will be canceled and a $200 deep cleaning fee will be assessed.

We enjoyed staying here the week of our son's graduation from ETSU. The cabin is very cute both inside and out and the setting is peaceful. We loved the decor inside featuring bears and other outdoor motifs on the lamps, light switch covers, dishes, and rugs. The deck was the perfect spot to enjoy dinner in the evening or coffee and tea in the morning.

Everything was great. Our youngest son loved being able to see the stars through the skylight when he laid down for bed. We even forgot something and the owner let us back in, communication with her was terrific. If we are in the area again we would definitely look to stay.

A beautiful two bedroom two bath plus a loft with master king bed plus futon smaller bed. One of the bathrooms is in the loft and includes a sink toilet and shower. It’s about 15 minutes to Johnson City and under 30 minutes to Jonesborough and Bristol. It has a full kitchen, washer, drier (I couldn’t figure out how to set the dryer to low heat if that’s needed) and lovely view of the woods. You can see your neighbors, but we didn’t hear them. So you feel fairly secluded, but not all out in the middle of nowhere by yourself. I’m not sure if there’s water access in the spring, but you can see the lake and a boat dock from the good sized deck.There is a large sign on the front door, clearly saying checkout is promptly at 10 AM. I’m not sure if it was the owners or the cleaning crew but they rolled into the driveway right at 10 AM, watching us load our final items. We had mostly packed the night before and were out of there by 10:12am. So it is on us period, but 10 AM does feel a little early to have someone roll up to the cabin right at 10 AM. The folks were friendly and stayed in their truck, but it ended the otherwise great weeklong stay with a slightly less positive feel.
