The staff were very friendly, always smiling and willing to help. The room was so quaint - a traditional Chinese style bed, tea making facilities as well as a hot shower and very posh loo! Located along a Hutong, inside it wasn’t what I expected. Attractively decorated with lots of plants and art work. Fusion food served in the restaurant. A lovely place to stay.
I got a bit lost walking from the tube when I arrived. Directions from the tube entrance would have been helpful. Once I knew where it was, it was easy and so close to the underground as well as lots of restaurants.

Het is een kleinschalig en gezellig hotel, niet ver van de metro en blauwe fietsen om Beijing te verkennen. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en je kunt ook prima dineren. De kamer was redelijk ruim, sanitair was prima.
De kamer was best vochtig, klimaat was niet fijn. Personeel spreekt zeer beperkt Engels, waardoor er niet makkelijk tips kunnen worden gegeven. Het is het enige hotel in de hutong, die is wel authentiek maar niet gezellig.

The common space was nicely decorated. Staff was helpful. Mattress was great. Great amenities.
The breakfast is very limited. No sweet options and we can only choose between 4 savory options that we have to book in advance the day before. It was pretty slow in the morning. Staff not speaking English. Rooms were a bit old and small.
