Perfect location. Excellent communication from hosts who were very friendly and helpful, willing to organise things for us, like airport transfer, who also become a private tour guide. Apartment was large and fully equipped. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Lorena, the owner, was incredibly helpful. Communication was excellent & nothing was too much trouble.
It was lovely to arrive to water, tea & coffee & gels for the bathroom. Plenty of loo rolls too!
The beds were comfy. The air con was both effective & simple to use.
The property is very centrally based, between Sao Bento station & the cathedral. Everywhere is easy to reach although the hills seemed steeper than they were when we were last in Porto 17 years ago!
Some reviews have mentioned that there are a few homeless people living close by. Although this is correct, we were never bothered by anyone, & never felt uncomfortable or threatened.
We would certainly return to Lemargo if we’re in Porto again.
A small shelf in the lovely shower area would be useful - a recommendation not a complaint!

Location!!!
Next to the cathedral! Walking distance to ALL Porto atractions. 50 meters from Sao Bento metro station. 100 meters form Sao Bento train station.
Cozy apartment with a view. Air conditioned. Small but fully functional kitchen and bathroom.
A construction site right outside, but not a major nuisance.
If there was a laundry machine it would perfect. Otherwise, no complaints.

The location was wonderful as everything was walking distance from the apartment. If we needed anything, the hosts were very responsive.
The only thing I would point out is that the parking is not as easy as it was made to seem. It is street parking and it is a very busy area, as it’s in the middle of the city. Also, I had problems contacting the hosts via the booking site, luckily we were able to find someone working and available to help with our needs.
