About this cabin rental
The cabin will sleep 2 adults and 1 child (3 people maximum - no exceptions): a pillow top queen bed, and a hide-a-way twin bed concealed in the ottoman. (the hide-a-way bed is best suited for smaller individuals) Beautifully furnished inside with granite counter tops, knotty alder cabinets, and hardwood floors. The bathroom has a shower, vanity, and toilet. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot, and hot plates. The kitchen is stocked with all utensils including coffee and basic spices. A propane BBQ grill is located just of the back steps. Linens, towels, hair dryer, and pillows are ready for use. Air conditioning is in the cabin for those few hot days. Sorry, no pets or ESAs. A short walk to 20+ dining/drinking establishments, the park, beach, and marina. McCuster Basecamp was built in 2015. This guest house along with the main house is built on one of the last remaining vacant properties near downtown McCall. A 200 ft. driveway provides both seclusion and privacy on the wooded property.

We visited McCall to ski Tamarack and Brundage. This cabin was centrally located between the two and within walking distance to the festival that was also going on that weekend.
The cabin had everything we wanted and was easy to access. I forgot to grab it beer that was on the back porch, so whoever the next guest is, there’s a present there for you😁

Pulled up and a deer was there to greet us, what a wonderful start! Place was so quiet and peaceful yet so close to town. Great place to relax after snowmobiling all day, we will return.

Tucked away but only short walk to downtown. Top condition and clean. Hosts are excellent. Loved our stay here.

The cabin was clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. It's a short walk into town if you don't want to drive. We stayed for 3 days, and were very happy with the experience overall.

I looked at a lot of places from Cascade and into McCall. This place jumped out at me with a 5 star rating. Camp hosts were great with communication and this place is as cozy as it gets. The ONLY thing that I would say that needs fixed is the bed isn’t attached to the headboard and the bed rolls forward and your pillows fall behind the bed. Simple fix I’m sure! Love this place.

We greatly enjoyed our two night stay at this clean, up-to-date and charming little cabin in beautiful McCall! The cabin is in a residential neighborhood within a short distance from everything in this delightful lake town. We hope to stay again soon!
P.S. We also highly recommend Ragazza Di Lago for dinner. It has beautiful lake views, outstanding service and yummy food!

Exceptional. Will definitely be returning. Place is absolutely beautiful, landscaping is a deer’s dream which you can watch them enjoy their own paradise. The attention to detail is amazing.

The place was great and had everything we needed. The host was responsive and welcoming. It was very close to restaurants, shopping and the lake, and we loved the property and the sweet fawn and doe that walked through the property in the evening. Overall great find in McCall!

A wonderful relaxing and quiet place to stay. Super clean
and well organized. Enjoyed coming down the lane to
the cabin with the beautiful flowers, trees, and other
touches the owner's provided to make it so welcoming.
The deer by the cabin was an extra bonus.

Property was within walking distance of the town and was super clean. Spatious little house sitting next to the owner's house, which is great for 2 people at most. All the furniture was comfortable and cozy.

We really enjoyed your lovely cabin. Clean, cozy and comfortable. Everything we could wish for. And close in proximity to downtown and skiing. The ONLY problem we encountered was a strange one. Our divet cover and sheets smelled so strongly of chemicals that we couldn’t sleep the first night. I took those items to the laundromat and washed them. The rinse cycle was also full of soap. I did not complain. Just took care of the problem.
We’ve never had this problem before. It’s not that they were over scented. It was like there was a buildup of detergent that left this chemical smell. Otherwise it was perfect. I do hope the owners take our complaint seriously. I have not seen any other complaints of this. And as we’ve never had this problem in our 70 years of living, I don’t think we are overly sensitive. Anyway, thank you for the lovey home base.

I loved the place. It was very comfortable and had lots of good stuff to use. The little fireplace was icing on the cake. It is a gas fireplace. I had a small trailer and it was kinda hard to park but the owner helped me and all was good. I would stay again.

This was the perfect place to stay in McCall. Quiet, close to town, and very nicely built and decorated. We skied all 3 days at Tamarack, and loved coming back to this cozy, warm cabin.

We enjoyed having the central location for driving to the various XC ski areas, and for walking to downtown. Mattress not too soft--good. Kitchen as described; we augmented small refrigerator with a cooler on the porch. Radiant as well as convective heat from gas "wood" stove made cabin cozy and warm. A very nice trip.

Everything was smooth and easy from check in to check out! The cabin was equipped with everything you could need! The cabin is cute as can be and we’ll definitely be back!

Just Perfect
We arrived late to the cabin and were so pleased with the accommodations. Clean, comfortable and pleasant. We were there two nights. In our confusion we left two items in the closet and Phillip was so kind to send them to us. We will stay again if we return to McCall in the future. The cabin is close to town and east to get around from, yet away from the busy traffic in and around McCall.

COZY! and PERFECTY CLEAN!
Excellent!!! So Clean and Cozy! Exactly as pictured on VRBO.
Only wish the shower stall had better fixtures for it's smaller size such as a adjustable, directional shower head AND a hand held shower wand.; a must in a 3 x 3 shower stall ( an advantage for BOTH bathing and and cleaning purposes).

Perfect spot! Very clean and comfortable and all we needed for a ski getaway. Short easy walk to town and fun breweries!
