About this house rental
This townhouse is full of charm and color. The Suite Home’s downstairs has a queen bed in an alcove (privacy curtain) off the living area. There is a love seat leather couch, stuffed chair, dining table, eating counter with bistro chairs, full kitchen, bathroom with a handicap shower. The upstairs has a queen at the top of the winding staircase in a large foyer. There are also 2 private bedrooms off the large foyer. One has a full bed with half bath and the other has a full bed and a twin bed. There is a barrel sauna and fire-pit pavilion available year round for guests to enjoy. You will receive a keypad door code via HA before you arrive. Pricing Summer Season: May-September $250.00 for 1 or 2 persons $20.00 for each additional person Max capacity 9 people Winter Season: Mid Sept.-April $230.00 for 1 or 2 persons $20.00 for each additional person Max capacity 9 people Prices do not include 5% bed tax and 3%.Children 2 and under free. Pack and Play available with prior request.

This cottage is adorable and the perfect place to stay in if you are visiting Talkeenta. We had planned on flying over Denali but the weather did not work out well but we are so happy to be able to experience the town and this cottage made that perfect!

Nice place, good location, as described. They only thing I feel needs to be improved is they need a full size washer and dryer. The tiny stackable unit doesn't spin the clothes very well and thus the tiny 110 volt dryer takes forever to dry a load of clothes. Wasn't a big deal we did just 1 load and waited until our next rental for the rest.

My family really enjoyed our time in the Suite Home rental. Decor was cute and there was plenty of beds for everyone. We had a great time!

The cabin was so cute and super close to downtown Talkeetna. (The host even left a great binder to help us find a short cut!) It was well stocked with the essentials and very clean.

Sweet little modern cabin unit perched high on a ridge. Was not difficult at all to drive up to with a small RAV 4 SUV. Great sheets and towels is always a welcome touch. Spotless. The mini fridge, microwave and kettle with tea supplies met our breakfast needs perfectly. We supplied our own bowls and spoons. Simple cellular shades on the lower level. Lots of windows helped keep the temperature of the loft comfortable without needing the a/c. We were totally happy.

We enjoyed our stay at this property and our overall trip to Alaska. This place is nestled conveniently and is easy to get to. It also has close access to the surrounding community and is a nice drive to Denali Nat. Park. We were very pleased with the property. Everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked. We'd stay here again!

This place is fun and cozy! The only critique would be to better stock kitchen supplies and add maybe one more loveseat for seating in the living space. Would stay here again!

The location was convenient, and we used the sauna (fits four but tight) but the kitchen didn't have very many dishes (bowls for example). Two of the bedrooms didn't have doors (one was just a bed in the upstairs landing, so no door of any kind and others have to walk through it, and one was in the living room behind a curtain. The people were very nice though and the sheets and towels were clean.

What a wonderful bright open CLEAN place! We had 1 elderly couple 1 80 year old lady plus us a family of 4 all had own beds & privacy was ample too. Were from Anchorage so are very familiar with Talkeetna September is Ak fall all the trees turning ALL SHADES OF YELLOW RED BURNT ORANGES. The Heater was Great too its cool in the Am. We all loved playing the Trivial Pursuit game from age 10 to 80! Made some FANTASTIC FAMILY Memories! Oh & at night the deck has pritty little lights that glow & cast warm welcoming light. Will stay much much longer next time. Thank you for easy rules too. No do this strip that wash this & that befor you leave. Only 1 minor thing we drink Alot of Keurig pod coffee & always bring our own. There pritty cheap at costco 35 buck or bed bath & beyond a bit more. No worries we carry one to Vegas too lol.

Centrally located. Walking distance to the town of talkeetna. Walking distance to the airport and any tour you wanted. Very quiet. Fully equipped kitchen. House was very clean. Parking was good and the people were very friendly. It was a nice home to come back to after a day of fishing.

The layout was a little different than I anticipated, but it worked fine for our group. Very close to downtown, which is what we were looking for. Property manager was friendly and helpful.

Two couples staying 2 nights - property was clean , comfortable well located with easy access to town , walking , restaurants and the river. Odd downstairs bed set up but plenty of extras library games &a good kitchen area . Fine for all our needs

The property manager was wonderful and the location was a short walk from downtown. However, it’s not a standard townhouse but more like a large house that was retrofitted into separate private spaces with their own entrances. I believe the suite, nook, and loft are all under the same roof. From the bed at the top of the stairs you can hear the conversations clearly from other rented spaces, especially if they’re loud but even if they’re talking normally. A locked door at the foot of the bed is what separates the two units upstairs. The lack of a true drywall barrier between the space (loud), extension cords to hanging lights, and steep stairwell made it not a great set up for traveling with a young child.

While the style was eclectic it had some rough edges. Bits of broken trim/transition strips, lighting in some areas by plugging in extension cords, a bed in the upstairs landing makes it a bit cramped to say it will sleep 8. A bit of an odd smell and interesting to have a stacked washer/dryer that could only be used one at a time. The sauna advertised seemed to be in another unit’s yard so not sure if the descriptions are mixed up between the booking and check in book inside the unit.

We rented the suite and the cabin for one night. The place was very clean and close to town. My husband and I walked from town to the unit. About a 12 minute walk for us. The owner was very helpful and answered all my questions quickly. I would highly recommend this place.

My family of four and cousins stayed here, what a cute place! The adults I traveled with preferred a separate room and there were two. The beds in alcove and on landing were tight but perfect for the kids! Talkeetna is a fun town! Thank you for letting us stay!

Cute, quaint, and close to everything in Talkeetna
We were in town for one night before taking a floatplane tour to Denali, and this was perfect for my group of one couple and a single friend. Easy to find, easy to park, and cute cabin/cottage kind of feel.

I gave this property a four for "accuracy of listing" because the bedroom at the top of the narrow stairway is not a bedroom but a landing with a king size bed and two bedrooms off of that area. One of the bedrooms on the second floor has a half bath which is nice. The bedroom on the first floor is like a library with a queen size bed inside of it and a curtain separating it from the living room - this was okay for us but might not be for everyone. It is a small suite attached to other units.
My husband spoke to the owners and they were very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of mosquitos so bring industrial strength bug spray. There are no taxi's in Talkeetna contrary to what the house book shows. I asked the property manager to update the book regarding that. Our group of six did not have a car and the downtown was a solid six to eight block walk.
