You can do birdwatching directly from the rooftop, which also has an amazing view of the Great Wall. The roads uphill are very good to watch birds, insects, and even to get clean sound recordings of nature. Also good to go for a walk or jogging.
It would be great if they had paper maps or even a digital map of the valley showing the restaurants they recommend, as for a non-Chinese-speaker it might be tricky to follow their instructions.

Personnel très accueillant et à l’écoute.
Notre chambre avait une vue sur la grande muraille.
L’hôtel est situé à côté d’une entrée de la grande muraille mais pas de la section de badaling qui est à 15 minutes de voiture.
