Fantastic chef and lovely staff who were very helpful and attentive
Beach and pool about 1.5km from hotel. Shuttle buggy provided which was great but the area was deserted which made it feel quite eerie. Great if you want somewhere very quiet but nothing if you want to go and find a bar etc… everything was closed in the afternoon. Hotel food and drinks were fantastic though so if you’re happy to stay in the hotel it is great.

The hotel was in a great location for transferring to and from the Ha Long Bay cruises, which made our onward journey very convenient. The hotel staff were lovely, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. There was also a good selection of food at breakfast, with plenty of choice.
The surrounding area was disappointing, with many dilapidated and deserted buildings nearby. There was nowhere within easy walking distance to explore, dine, or spend time outside the hotel. The swimming pool was not actually located near the hotel, which wasn't clear in the photos when booking.

Close to the port. Clean and comfortable bed.
Breakfast was unorganised. There was variety but it didnt look organised and kept clean regularly. Little bit messy plates, etc. The elevator is closing so fast, it is closing before the second person can come inside the elevator.

Huge comfy beds. Perfect if you need a base the nice before a cruise as you’re already on the island. We went for the half board option to avoid looking for places to eat in quite an empty place. Food was delicious, breakfast had a lot of variety but was very busy (lots of elbow nudging from others).
Busy (and rude tourists, but can’t be helped) breakfast.
Beach and pool shuttle closed too early so couldn’t use
