Great location off the beaten track. Has a cool vibe with nice bars, shops and restaurants nearby.
It was a great stay in a cool part of Tulum with a few bars and restaurants nearby. It was slightly off the beaten track but we don't mind that. We did need a taxi to get to the beach and to go further afield, they're expensive and a 10 min drive was never less than $50. It was a 10 minute walk to the main road with lots of places to eat, shop and drink. We were there for the Day Zero festival and it didn't disappoint, we had an amazing holiday and will definitely be returning to Tulum.
It would be more helpful if there was a reception for help with booking taxi's, information etc. Our host was great though and answered every question promptly. We were disappointed after viewing our friends apartments, in the same complex. They all had artwork on the walls and furniture on the small patios outside. We didn't have any and we felt like that would have really added to it. The bathroom has a terrible damp smell and got worse as the week went on. The apartment wasn't cleaned during our stay and for the price, it would have been most welcome, especially as there was no welcome pack or breakfast included in the price.

Over Priced and Over Rated
Good location. Several restaurants and bars within walking distance. Bed was comfortable. TV had Netflix
The 4:00 pm check in was a problem. No where to drop off your bags. No one there to watch your bags. There is no one on the property, period. The furniture in our unit #302 PH looked like it came from a Garage Sale. Only 2 bath towels! If you want anything else at all it is an extra charge. There is a Salsa band across the street that plays until all hours of the night. 11:00 am check out/vacate is too early. Lastly, you expected me to make sure all trash was tied up in plastic bags! What are the cleaning staff for?

False advertisement. How was it a Penthouse apartment? I asked the booking person if it was a penthouse. They definitely
It was quiet
Felt like I was lied to. From deposit amount to room size room style. 100% not a penthouse. Don’t tell people that it’s a penthouse. It’s an apartment!!!! It Makes you think it supposed to luxurious, when in fact it’s plan jane. Was not impressed. How could the pool look dirty?? Like why seriously. Far from beach or any main attractions. Informed staff member I miss my flight getting there. Didn’t comp me a day of visit or extended my stay a day.

The location.
Customer service skills. 0/10 Check-in 0/10 Price 0/10 Location 8/10 Comfort/Amenities 6/10 I arrived, followed all instructions and there was no key in the lock box. I had to wait for 30mn to receive a key to get in the apartment. In the email communication it would be good to notify that a deposit is needed upon arrival. When I expressed my opinion, the lady gave me an attitude. Later she apologized. The apartment itself and the location is great. But for 100$ a day it is not worth it. You can definitely find something better. For that price you can stay by the beach. If you want to charge TOP PRICE you have to provide TOP SERVICE.
