This place is idyllic and at this time of year July you may get the whole hotel to yourself. It’s an easy walk to the beach which can be lovely. The pool is a good size and the gardens attract a variety of birds. The room was enormous with a double sink and good sized bathroom/shower. The bed was comfy and the air conditioning works well. The breakfast is massive. There’s little choice but you are served with a variety of platters to work your way through. We took a selection from breakfast each day and put it in the fridge as a lunchtime/afternoon snack. The evening meal is a modest choice and simply prepared but always tasty. They also do a good cocktail.
The beach can suffer from Sargasum landing on shore but we didn’t find it smelly (like some places down the coast). There is some rubbish on the beach too which it would be nice if they cleaned up. There are hawkers on the beach but they don’t bother you and do add a bit of local colour. It’s pretty isolated (like a lot off the beach hotels on the island) so there isn’t a (tourist friendly) town within walking distance to explore. We were happy to relax and stay on the hotels grounds.

Es un lugar único y especial en una zona donde todas las playas ya están llenas de mega hoteles. La arquitectura, los alrededores, las recámaras… todo es bellísimo. Ojalá hubiera más proyectos como este en la zona. Vale mucho la pena y espero este hotel se conserve así.

This property is right on the beach so perfect for a nice walk along. The room was huge with a good sized bathroom and two sinks which is great. Loads of places to hang and keep clothes nice. The breakfast is awesome and the evening meal is simple but tasty. The pool is a good size and very clean. Altogether a lovely peaceful retreat.
The beach is not very clean with lots of plastic rubbish. Not the fault of the hotel but something a country which wants to encourage tourists should be mindful of.
