It was an antique hotel literally. The staff was so great and breakfast was delicious.
I wish we were supplied with cold water bottles instead of glass refillable filtered water. The location of the hotel was very difficult to find and the side alley it was located on was too narrow for a car so we had to walk down the alley way with our luggage. The towels and linens need a refresh.

Great family hotel with very kind staff. In a quiet alley, but located close to the Imperial City. Several local food, shops, cafes within walking distance. They were nice enough to let us check in early after we arrived sooner than expected due to our travel plans changing.

Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotels we stayed at in Vietnam. When we woke up in the morning, there was a clear ventilation issue—our room was covered in a thin layer of water, and all our clothes had developed a musty smell. When we mentioned it to the staff, there was little to no reaction, which was quite disappointing.
Communication with some of the staff was also difficult. We had to ask ourselves for breakfast.
Room had a window looking at the reception, not really giving privacy.
On a positive note, the shower and breakfast was very good and the location is close to the northern gate of the citadel.
