About this house rental
Located in Lake Conroe, this lovely house for $128 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. You will love this oasis! Enter in to a gated community with 24 hour security for piece of mind. Hang out in the house or walk down to the lake in seconds. You can sit by the water, fish or jump in! In the house you'll find huge windows let lots of natural light in. Open concept upstairs allows for great entertaining and easy communication. Big living room and master bedroom TV's, alexa, basic cable, Netflix, Hulu and much more on apple tv. In the kitchen the double oven is great for cooking multiple dishes at once plus there's a gas grill on the patio. Patio also has lights and fans for a very relaxing hang out spot. There are three FULL bathrooms. One in the master, another downstairs and one upstairs. No need to fight there is plenty of hot water! Sleep on the BEST super comfortable mattresses with clean sheets washed before every stay. In the yard you can play corn hole or roast some marshmallows for smores on the fire pit. I do have 2 security cameras one captures the front door the other is in the living room. These cameras are for security purposes only which means I only review notifications if no one is supposed to be in the house. The rest of the time I have it in home mode (private). (feel free to ask any questions you may have on this)

We traveled to Lake Conroe for a Thanksgiving family reunion. The double oven was a huge help as was the very well stocked kitchen.
The beds, pillows and linens are very comfortable. Our son brought his dog so the fenced yard was a plus.
We didn’t spend anytime in the community but it looked like a nice gated community with 24 hr security.

We had three couples and two children. I would have like to know that it was two stories, but thankful one of the littles did good with stairs. We had to watch the crawling one because there was mor any thing at top of stairs. The rooms were very spacious and lots of bathrooms. Overall a great place!!!!

We stayed as 2 families and enjoyed our stay. The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms are all well furnished.
For others to know
The location is deep inside a gated club community so keep extra time for to get in and out.. and there is long security guard queue.

Yvette is a super star!! She was on point from booking to after check out and beyond! I cannot express how comforting it was to rent from her. Easy peasy. The home was cozy and well-equipped. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms meant no one had to share. Hahaha... The neighborhood was quiet. The master bed was one of the most comfortable beds ever! Location was great. Loved it all and big thanks Yvette!

When we arrived we were very surprised with how large the property actually was, and the lake was a 3 minute walk away. The home was clean and communication was always within minutes. We had a group of 10 and everyone fit perfectly even with extra space, she provides air mattresses and cots so i’m sure even more could fit.

The house was set up great to accommodate what our family needed. Having the 3rd full bathroom was definitely a plus. The owner was very quick to communicate and very helpful.

Overall we were very pleased with our stay! We were in the area for my niece's wedding in Montgomery and stayed from Friday afternoon through Sunday morning. Total number of occupants was four adults, two kids, and two dogs and we had plenty of room! Since the property is in a gated community, it was comforting to know that we had to turn in names of drivers accessing the property, and that gave us peace of mind when we weren't at the house. The owners left us a bottle of wine to enjoy with our stay and everything was super clean. The property is not the classiest or modern, but we live in a small town in the country and aren't used to the fanciest of décor, so the aesthetic didn't bother us one bit! If I am being super picky, we only had two minor complaints:
1. We are not used to a "Smart House" so the light dimmer switches and the TV access was a little difficult to navigate.
2. When we did have questions, the response time from the owners was a bit longer than expected, but Aggie Muster was that weekend, and the owners apologized for the delay, as they were volunteering with those festivities.
Overall it was a great stay and if we ever need a property near Lake Conroe again, we would definitely stay a second time.

We had an excellent time during our stay. Check-in and check-out was extremely easy. The property manager was always quick to respond whenever we had a question. The cameras that some people may have a problem with were NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER!!! We never felt like we were being "watched" or "monitored" in any way! The property was very clean and cozy. We also loved the balcony, it was very relaxing!! We would definitely like to stay there again!!

We loved staying here! CUUUUUTE little place with a lot more space than what appears from the outside. We were so comfortable and had plenty of room for 7 guests and our fur babies. Big comfy couch and an awesome patio to hang out on.

I very much dislike writing negative reviews but staying here put a damper on our whole trip for several reasons. First, there were lots of cameras. To be fair, they were disclosed and the host said she turns them to “privacy mode” but how do I know? Every time I went upstairs to the kitchen or living room or came in the front door I felt like I was being watched. And there were tons of smart devices around with listening capabilities that glowed different colors at different times. I just felt spied on and listened to the whole time. It was hard to relax.
There were a few cleanliness issues like the fridge and the master bath. The towels were severely lacking. I’d describe them as the ones I’d use to wash my dog with and there were no wash cloths to be found at all.
The condo was obviously a second home for the owners and didn’t have that “comfortable for guests” feel. There were personal belongings everywhere including clothes, shoes, pictures, and food. It made us feel like we were intruding in someone else’s space while paying to do so.
One of the bigger issues was the host’s response to an accident that we had during our stay. I put in a load of laundry and started the machine. A few minutes later there was a loud noise. The vibration from the washer had knocked a full container of laundry detergent onto the carpet that spilled everywhere. I immediately contacted the host to let her know and tried calling several carpet cleaners to come out and fix it but it was a holiday and nobody answered. The host suggested that I go to the store and rent a machine to clean it! Keep in mind that I’d paid for the mandatory insurance that she required and it was not my fault. I had one full day there that I planned to spend with family I hadn’t seen in years! It just ruined our whole stay and wasn’t a positive experience.
I won’t be staying here again.

the good and the bad
The property has some nice unexpected surprises, like the yard was fenced, there was a nice firepit, and a really large covered deck (larger than on pictures) with a view to the water. People in the area were friendly and it was a pet friendly area also. Location was close to HEB grocery and a lot of restaurants. Security Gate people are ill informed, they didn't have a clue about issuing a pass, which was not needed anyway. The unit itself was clean, but the grill on the deck was not. The house is very very electronically techy (TV, HVAC, lights, shades). Owner was available via phone easily. Note the information she has posted about cameras on the VRBO site. This place would be great for a large family or 3 couples, plenty of space,

We had a formal wedding nearby, and needed a place to gather near other extended family members. The home is well-appointed and comfy, There was one closet available to hang our gowns and tuxes. Great place to gather for a meal!
