Amazing central location with beautiful views from the enclosed balcony. The apartment is really charming, spread across both sides of the 4th floor of a traditional Porto block. It's a very vibrant neighbourhood, with lots of bars on the street below: if you like excellent street jazz at midnight on a Friday, this is the place for you! There is no air conditioning - only fans - but it is otherwise really well-equipped and the location and views more than make up for it. The host communicated brilliantly throughout the booking and checking-in process.
Small maintenance issues: for example, there is no mechanism to open or close the shutter in the main bedroom, and the electric socket in the second bedroom is not properly fixed in the wall.

General location and cleanliness.
The apartment/rooms allocated on arrival did not have a balcony which is what we expected. The only pictures I saw when booking didn't show the apartment/ rooms We were allocated . The accommodation was disjointed we had to cross a public staircase between bedrooms and kitchen and lock each side independently.We made the best of our break but this booking is not as described. I Use booking .com all the time and this is not as described on the booking site .The only place to sit was in the kitchen. I strongly feel this is not as described. The accommodation bedrooms are situated above a bar which is very noisy which also was not mentioned on the booking .com site
