A really wonderful hotel. Very friendly staff. The pizzas are delicious and and breakfest simple but tasty. The rooms are a little small but well designed and styled.

The hotel, facilities, amenities, breakfast, location, and customer service were all excellent. Our flight was delayed into Porto so we didn't check-in until 2am or later but the hotel has a 24/7 concierge which was staffed and serviced was great. Airport to the hotel is only around 15mins by taxi/Bolt. Hotel is a short 5-10mins walk into the city. Even though the hotel is close to the main road, being inside the hotel it was very quiet.

Both the common areas and the room are cosy, well-designed, have a great vibe and are immaculately clean.
The bedroom's welcoming cake tray looked amazing; you could see it was carefully and thoughtfully prepared, although we didn't eat it. The staff was very friendly and helpful, with particular emphasis on the breakfast ladies and the night porter, who were very caring and attentive to every detail. The breakfasts were absolutely excellent - great variety and quality!
The name personalisation on the TV is quite sweet and it gives you an homely feel.
The trek upwards from the city center gets a little too much to do on foot after a day exploring the vibrant city.
The toilet "closet" is not ventilated enough and perhaps the water needs running for a while before the guests arrive - there was a strong lingering unpleasant smell in the room that took a day to dissipate.
The welcome card had the incorrect name on it and unfortunately didn't make it as a souvenir...

We recently stayed at this hotel in Porto and, overall, the room itself was fine—comfortable in size and nicely furnished, with everything we needed for a short stay.
However, our experience was unfortunately overshadowed by a major issue with the air conditioning.
The system in our room was not functioning properly—or rather, it could not be controlled from within the room at all. Only the front desk staff had access to the controls, which made for a very frustrating experience. After a call to reception to request turning it on and off, we eventually gave up and decided to leave it running all night just to avoid the hassle. Needless to say, this made for a rather uncomfortable and restless night.
We were told that the next morning an electrician would be contacted to fix the issue, but unfortunately we were checking out that same day. Apparently, no other rooms were available to move us to, which was disappointing.
Aside from this issue, there’s nothing else major to report—the hotel was generally clean and quiet, and the location was convenient.
