포르투 구시가지를 언덕 위와 언덕 아래에서 즐기기에 가장 최적의 위치에 숙소가 자리하고 있었습니다. 문을 열고 나가면 포르투 대 성당과 루이스 다리가 바로 앞에 있었고, 다리 위 또는 아래로 건너가면 가이아도 가까웠습니다. 길만 건너면 상벤투역 출구로 에스컬레이터가 이어지는 것도 정말 편리했습니다. 맞은편 스타벅스에서는 합법적인 아이스아메리카노를, My Coffee에서는 가성비 좋은 브런치 메뉴를 즐길 수 있어 거의 매일 갔습니다.
숙소 내에는 필요한 가구, 가전, 식기 등이 모두 갖추어져 있었고, 더운 날씨에 에어컨도 있어 반가웠습니다.
호스트가 체크인과 체크아웃에 필요한 정보를 사전에 알려주고 소통해 주어 어려움 없이 숙소를 활용할 수 있었습니다. 체크아웃 시간도 저희 요청에 따라 조금 늦춰주신 덕에 편하게 이동할 수 있었습니다.
3층 같은 2층에 위치한 방이었고 올라야 하는 계단이 많았습니다... 무거운 캐리어가 있는 분들은 직접 들고 올라가셔야 합니다.
공용 계단과 복도에 불이 들어오지 않아서 저녁 늦게 귀가할 때는 어둠 속에서 휴대폰 후레시를 사용해야 했습니다.
숙소 정보에 세탁기가 있다고 표시되어 있었지만 세탁기는 없었습니다. 인근의 코인 세탁소가 있어 크게 문제 되진 않습니다.
체크인한 첫날 욕실에 샴푸/바디클렌저가 없어 곧장 샤워를 하지 못하고 인근 마트에서 사와야 했습니다.
마지막으로 마이너하긴 하나 에어비앤비 앱은 호스트와 메세지를 주고 받을 때 자동 번역이 되는데 부킹닷컴 앱은 자동 번역 기능이 없어서 호스트가 포르투갈어로 보내는 메세지를 매번 영어로 번역해서 보아야 해서 소통에 지연과 번거로움이 있었습니다.

Absolutely everything you could want in a vacation apartment. Fantastic kitchen, cute little balcony, air conditioning, washing machine. Perfectly clean and amazing location! Every morning we had coffee and breakfast on the balcony and mentioned how lucky we were to have this apartment for our holiday.
