We stayed at "The Brick" for 5 nights, and it is an exceptionally located rental for everything in Munising. The bedrooms are roomy and the huge full bath with washer and dryer were much appreciated. The backyard was great for our pup, and it was so convenient to not have to leash her every time she wanted to go out. The kitchen is well appointed with most things you would need for your stay. The photos hanging throughout the rental are beautiful. I was born and raised in Munising, and home for a visit, so we are very familiar with the area. While staying in Munising this time, we ate at Eh! Burger, Border Grill (twice), and Miner's Pasties, and got ice cream at Falling Rock Cafe and Pictured Rocks Trading Company (a little out of town on the way to Miner's Castle). We kayaked the Au Train River with kayak rentals from Northwoods Kayak Rentals. Highly recommend this- it was our favorite day! Go out to Au Train to see gorgeous sunsets, too! We had two teen boys with us, and they really enjoyed having everything so close that they could walk everywhere. One son spent quite a bit of time at the skate park (near Mustang Stadium on Varnum), and they walked to Bayshore Park, the Dairy Queen, and just throughout town. Parking is ample and easy for this rental. We will definitely stay at "The Brick" again if it is available next time we are up!

The size and location of this property was perfect for our 4 adults adventuring in Munising. It is within walking distance of everything in town and close to waterfalls, beaches and lots of ice-cream options! It is pet friendly and has a nice fenced in yard. The owner responds quickly to messages and checking in and out was easy. One caution for visitors, once the water for showers and kitchen sink warms up, it gets super hot. Be careful to dial it back. A few suggestions for the owner for minor improvements: it would be nice to have a few larger knives in the kitchen - something long enough to slice a loaf of bread or to cut larger veggies like squash. A hand-held can opener would be easier than the electric one (perhaps we just didn't know how to use it correctly, but it was a challenge.) If you are able to get queen sized mattresses instead of the standard double, it would add comfort for guests who are taller or larger than those in our stay. The futon needs a new mattress - we sat on it, but wouldn't recommend anyone sleep on it.

We had a quick stop in Munising to see Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and it did not disappoint! “The Brick” was a perfect location to do this. We loved that we could walk to dinner and walk to Lake Superior. The house was perfect for our family of 4. Thanks for a great stay!

We had the best time staying at The Brick. Our group of 6 women loved the house, the location, and overall everything. The fresh flowers were such a welcoming touch. We will be back next year

Great location to the National Park, kayaking, beach and Munising.

Everything was great except the doublebed. It was not big enough for my wife and I. Not the host's fault, it was clear in the listing it was a double bed. There is plenty of room for a queen size bed. That would be my only suggestion, otherwise this would be the first place i look at when i return in the future.

We enjoyed our time in Munising and the house was clean and as described.

This rental is an adorable house in the gorgeous town of Munising. It was comfortable, clean, and easy to access. We stayed here in the winter for the Michigan Icefest, and it was extremely easy to find, close to everything we wanted, and convenient for getting out to Pictured Rocks. I highly recommend the stay.

We stayed in "The Brick" for three nights in late December for a quick getaway to the U.P. to try snowmobiling. The house was perfect for my wife and I and our three kids, ages 19,17, and 15. The house was very clean when we arrived and well-stocked with everything we needed. The house is in ver good shape and appears to have been updated recently. The location is great, walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. The owner was attentive and available, although we didn't need him as everything about the house was great. This was a great VRBO experience and we would stay again!

Our family of 4 was very comfortable in this well appointed home. Although we arrived late in the evening, the checkin process was very easy. It was a treat to wake up and see the fall colors and sparkling lake. We enjoyed the local coffee shop in the morning and stayed up late playing board games. Would love to come back for another visit.

This was a perfect place for a several day get away. There is a view of Munising Bay from the property. It is located on the main road through town and within walking distance to restaurants and the docks. Close to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Munising and Miner Falls. There was a fenced in backyard that was really nice to have for our dogs. Check-in was super easy. The mattress on the bed was very comfortable. There is a washer and dryer and full kitchen. We would definitely stay here again if we come to Munising.

Host answered all questions very quickly. Central location to a million sights to see in the UP! Clean house.

While excellent, one key issue. Master bedroom mattress and box spring. Needs to be NEW & at least a Queen sized. Replacement essential

Location is right in downtown Munising. It was very easy to get to restaurants or Pictured Rock Tours. The fenced in yard was ideal for dogs too. However, the house needs some work. It seems unfinished, some dead wires hanging out of the wall, unfinished base boards and trim, the doors didn’t shut well unless slammed, couches seemed very old. It does need a good cleaning, or new carpet and rugs. We have a baby and after she crawled on the carpet for about an hour, her hands, knees, and feet were blackened with dirt.

The Red Brick house is fantastic…. Extremely clean, great location, more well stocked with paper goods, supplies, etc and the host easy to get ahold of. The fenced in back yard is perfect for storing bikes, paddle boards and bikes. I highly recommend this rental!
