Despite being an older property, the high standards of the Queen City Inn - for cleanliness, service, helpfulness, everything - made this place stand out against many more expensive places I've stayed. The breakfast spread was continental but substantial, with great coffee and drinks selection. The location and free airport shuttle made our departure a breeze. And the option to pay a flat fee of $75 to stay as late as 4pm is a boon to travelers with later flights who want to be comfortable instead of sitting for hours and hours in airport chairs. And it's rare these days to have a room with a nice deep bathtub to soak away those travel aches - a luxury I really appreciated at the end of a long trip. Thank you to the staff of Queen City Inn, and best wishes. If my travels take me back through Bangor, you're my first choice.
Nada. Pictures are accurate - it's gonna look like an old fashioned motel. But you're getting old fashioned service and comfort at a *very* old fashioned price. Can't complain.

Outdated, sink clogged, hallway carpet could be a trip hazard..
