It was a stop on our way home and we were more than pleasantly surprised with the hotel.
Location was excellent, staff were friendly and welcoming and room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choice and good hours.

Helpful and early check in. Nice clean room. Did not need any extras. However, the pillows (3 per bed) were not comfortable. All too firm & kind of lumpy. The beds were okay & the linens good. The fridge was noisy enough to have to unplug it in the night, sounded like snoring.
The breakfast was very good, staff attentive, clean area.

Nice place to stay. Cookies at sign in was nice. All day coffee available on 1st floor. Usually has a good breakfast, but this las stay, attendant was having a rough morning. Went there at 8:30 am and there was hardly any food out. Waffle batter was empty, Nutrigrain bars gone, no sausage, counters were very dirty. Staff are great. Very accommodating and pleasant.

First time staying here and very glad i did - excellent location and very close to HWY95 - access to restaurants and shopping - rooms are clean and adequate - great front porch with rocking chairs to relax - only peeve would be the internet...tried to do some video calling - very slow and kept disconnecting...other than that - highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

Staff were very friendly and the room was clean. The beds however were hard as rocks and certainly not delux double as advertised, the were more like twin and a halfs at best. We booked a delux double room with two delux double beds advertised as fitting 1-4 people, we had four, and there was not room in those beds for 2 smaller sized adults. We booked it as a book now pay later booking, Upon check in they were told we would be paying cash and they said no problem but would have to keep card on file until check put, no problem except they didnt inform me that they were putting a hold on my visa debit, and when going to check out I was informed that the money would take a few days to be released, which was not told to me at check in, I was told "well it is posted right there, you should have read it", okay sure it was but off to the side at the end of the counter in a tiny plasitc frame. That unless you're told to look and read it you wouldn't notice it. Will not likely stay here again.

I've stayed here eight times over the past 15 years but not since Covid. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and this is the best budget hotel. Staff is attentive and rooms are quiet. The breakfast is basically a continental plus style that is adequate. The cookies used to be homemade but now are prepackaged.
Internet here though has not kept pace. Measured by Speedtest shows it fluctuates below 3meg per sec making streaming spotty if not impossible. It needs to have Spectrum bring it up to high-speed standard and be able to handle the traffic that the hotel hosts. I'll be back but can't rely on doing business work here. I will say that the hotel did give me a discount because of the issue, and I appreciate their customer service.
Also check your TV remote control. Mine only allowed you to turn the tv on and adjust volume, all other controls were useless.

Beds were clean, but mattresses were old and out of shape, but still comfortable enough to sleep well enough. Maybe this was just our room, as it looks like they were remodeling some rooms.
Ice bucket, lamps and the folded washcloths in the bathroom were coated in crusty stuff.
Our room had a nice little fridge and microwave. Nice size tv and a wall mounted hair dryer.
The rooms are a bit dated, but they were comfortable. One of the nicer hotels in the area for a good price. Would stay here again.

Close to restaurants, gas stations, shopping and the Interstate made this hotel a great place to stop overnight enroute to a ski trip. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet.

It needs work. It is very close to amenities and convenient, and inexpensive, place to stay for Bangor airport travelers. But it needs an interior make-over and NOT just new carpet.

Cigarette odor emanated from air handler in room. Suspect filer needed cleaning from when someone broke the rules.

We had to make an emergency trip to Bangor. The Country Inn was convenient to the hospital, dining options and Walmart. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

Hotel only services the rooms on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays and only if you ask for it. It is not mentioned on their website nor on Expedia at the time of making the reservation. There is a notice on the counter and in the room in a laminated sheet, but they should mention it at the time of checking in and it certainly should have been stated on your website.

The front desk person was very rude when I arrived. I was taken aback. Then he self-corrected. Other than that. Vending machine didn’t seem to work.

The Country Inn was just what I was looking for after a long day of meetings. The room was comfortable and I appreciated the desk in the room to prepare for the next day. I will definitely stay there again when I have business in the area.
