Beautiful beach walkable from room. House keepers Jenna and Priscilla talked to us and gave us places to check out in town for shopping and eating. They were great!

Everything was good except they don’t have a designated smoking area which meant people smoked directly outside the rooms; this was frustrating.

An older property but a great location, clean rooms and a friendly staff.

small little old motel… on the beach…nice and clean

We were there for a funeral that weekend. Overall a nice smaller hotel that was privately owned I believe. Not much in the way of breakfast, other than coffee and some prepackaged snack stuff; but typically we like to go out for breakfast at a restaurant anyway. The only issue we had with the stay was we had to move rooms on the second day because the upstairs room we had been assigned the first night was booked for the second and third night. It wasn’t a real big deal other than since we had funeral stuff all day on Sunday, we had to pack up and put everything in the car and then when we got back that evening move into the second room. Of note, they had warned us of this room change two weeks prior to arriving at the hotel. We could have changed hotels, but this one had gotten such good reviews and was right on the beach that we decided to tolerate the room change. It really was not a big deal. Both the upstairs room we had initially, and the downstairs room we moved to were both beachfront, and we had nice views of ocean and dunes .

We stayed 2 nights at this motel. Super clean and very comfortable. All staff were accommodating even finding a tea bag for my husbands morning tea. The beach is a dune walk away. Highly recommend and we will stay again when in the area.

Comfortable rest for a reasonable price

The Beachside Motel is a beautifully updated, old-school Florida beach motel. Everything easy, serene, delightful. Pool adjacent the dunes, motel is directly on the beach. I can't imagine a better place to stay.

Good location and well taken care of

It was nice, quiet and peaceful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. On the beach in a remote location but just a few minutes from everything.

Second stay at this hotel. Like the ocean being so close. Bed is not the most comfortable I have had but for a nite I can live with that. Will stay again if I cruise out of Jaxport..25 minutes away!

The property has an easily accessible path to the beach. Beautiful views. It's a little older property but adequate for our needs and we enjoyed our stay.

kitchen was terrible. Old stove and oven dirty. The coffee pot made terrible coffee and utensils nasty. The television remote dirty and sticky and the smallest TV EVER. Only good thing was the motel is on the water. Very old and need of repair

Excellent staff great location

Room was cozy and easy walk to beach. No frills, but met basic comforts. A toaster oven would have been nice, but microwave ok. Staff really nice.

Loved this property, I could stay here forever!! Great restaurant across the street. Beach was clean and not crowded. The kitchenette makes this even better.

Staff was wonderful! Pool looked great, but it was too cold to get in. Plenty of towels and supplies. Can walk directly to the beach. Heater was a bit loud, but not overbearing. Great location to explore rest of Amelia Island.

I saw a YouTube video from years ago where someone complained about bedbugs. We stayed 5 nights and there was no problem. It’s an older two story motel but it has been remodeled. It was on the beach. Reasonable price. Not 5 star but nice enough for traveling with kids. I would stay again. The beds we’re comfortable. Basic motel on the beach.

Great experience. Had an ocean room and the view was awesome. This room doesn’t come w microwave but has kitchen appliances to cook. I enjoyed cooking so it doesn’t matter with my stay. Overall, I would come back.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms very clean and quiet.

Very well maintained and a short walk to the beach. clothes hook needs to be installed on the back of the bathroom door. The bathroom exhaust fan is loud and can only be turned off when the bathroom light is turned off. The shower water was hot and plentiful, and the drain worked properly. Breakfast consists of brewed coffee and a pre-packaged piece of pastry.
