First of all, everything was clean. The room just for staying the night was perfect. Good locations close to everything, specially if you travel with older people with my mother we could visit many places just by walking around.

This is an amazing hostel with great service. Their free activities was very helpful to get introduced to Chicago, get to know fellow travelers, and enjoy the experience better. Keep up the good work!

I've never stayed on a hostel before (only hotels and Airbnbs) - this one was a nice surprise. Shared room with 3 other people but it was confortable enough and enough space (and security, due to the lockers). Also, common areas were great and breakfast included, to top it up.
100% recommended!

Pretty views, room was clean and comfortable, and the service at the front desk was respectful and extremely helpful! Perfect for what my partner and I needed to enjoy our short vacation.

Awesome as always, larger than New York and San Diego! Huge comp breakfast, Cuban cafe. I like the food choices in NY better, but I don't remember a comp breakfast in NY. Great view!

During our recent business trip to Chicago, our group of seven had the pleasure of staying at this establishment. The exceptionally helpful staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs, ensuring a seamless experience. The cleanliness of the rooms and showers was noteworthy, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our stay. Thanks to the comfortable accommodations, our time in Chicago became truly memorable. We express our gratitude for the outstanding service and accommodations, and will definitely stay here again.

The proximity to Chicago's trains makes the location very convenient but also very noisy.
An apt comparison would be good university dorms - shared toilets (unless you book a private room with ensuite), shared pantry (fridge microwave; stove was disabled and cookware/tableware was unavailable), shared laundry room, and lots of communal areas.
Free breakfast is very appreciated and surprisingly decent.
Try to plan your arrival around the check-in time, or your bed/room may not be ready.

Kinda noisy because y0u can hear the 24/7 subway. Else is fine and average.

The only aspect of the hostel that i didnt like was the brwakfast. They didn't provide a lot of food or keep it well maintained. All i had for breakfast was a hard boiled egg and a muffin. Everything else was great. It was like the best of both worlds of being at a hotel and a college dorm. The living area was roomy, clean, and comfortable.

It’s located in a a big city, downtown, so set expectations on that as far as the “dirtiness” and “unhoused” population. However, it was close proximity to many tourist attractions and public transportation. The shower pressure was very poor, but I appreciated the in room shower anyway. Overall, I would certainly stay here again and bring my friends!

Place is surprisingly super clean, staff are very nice, location is VERY strategic near transportations and also walking distance to anywhere you want to go. The free breakfast is decent and I actually enjoy it every morning. Check-in process was quick and i have faced no problems with anyone/anything. I would definitely book this place again no second thoughts!

Great location, easy to get by with public transportation, and many things to see within walking distance. The hostel personnel were great. The common facilities were great too, but the carpets and furniture in the room were a bit worn down, and not very clean. There was a very good, and free breakfast. It was a bit noisy because of the trains, but got used to it in the end. I didn't feel a party-travellers feeling at the hotel, it was very quiet, and almost not-approachable guests actually. But none-the-less a good stay.

My group and I truly enjoyed our stay! Staff was super helpful and our stay was quite pleasant! My only issue was with our reservation. We booked through Expedia and were at the front desk checking in for over 45 minutes. If you book for the hostel ( and please do it was very worth it ), book directly with them instead of through Expedia. Expedia messed up my reservation and we had to rebook after a long flight. Otherwise, it was an excellent stay in the dorms and private rooms!

Only one working elevator in a place that large was cumbersome with long wait times. At least 1/4 of the rooms have a mass transit rail line immediately outside the windows with a train going by every 6 minutes. Since I’m a light sleeper, I won’t be staying here again. The train did not bother my wife, who is a heavy sleeper.

Amazing location close to transport and tourist spots. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was nice being able to store my bags with them before my second room was ready after extending my stay in the city. There's free breakfast - nothing extravagant, but free and appreciated. The place is quiet and very clean, cleaner than some hotels I've stayed at during previous visits to the city. I went with a private room because it was my first time staying at a hostel, but I'd honestly be fine with one of the multi person dorms after seeing the atmosphere. I'll definitely stay again whenever I visit Chicago!

For a hostel, this was incredibly clean and organized, really enjoyed the large lounge area to do work, the breakfast, and general demeanor of the clientele (chill vs. party). I would definitely recommend this to others looking for an affordable stay in the city. Also really appreciated the close proximity to train stations!
