About this cabin rental
Relaxing get away overlooking the Black Warrior River. Plenty of space, lovely views from the huge partially covered deck, and great fishing. Only 15 minutes from the city of Moundville and not too far from Tuscaloosa and the University of Alabama. Please note this is in a very rural area, down a 4 mile dirt road. Low riding vehicles are not recommended.

The beds were comfortable and we loved the games. The river was great and our kids enjoyed watching the boats! The worst part was the drive down the dirt road, but it was well worth it! We’d definitely be back!

Always enjoy staying at the River Retreat. Clean, comfortable, quiet and just a short trip in to town. The host is friendly and quick to respond.

Remote, but expecting so. Very peaceful. Very clean and very comfortable mattress. Not a bad drive to UA. Would consider staying again.

It was clean and very relaxing. Nice place to unwind and unplug. We were there for 3 nights and never turnd on the TV. Very relaxing to sit on the porch and staout on the river. Great place to bring your dog
