Couples and families with small children are sure to love this cozy condo with a loft bedroom steps to the beach with multiple shared pools, hot tub, an onsite restaurant and bar. We're located on the beach-no crossing the street or highway! What's nearby: Fort Morgan is a short drive to the west, with preserved Civil War fortifications, secluded beaches, and scenic boardwalks.

This is a very nice condo for 2 people; it would be pretty tight for any more than that. Access to the beach is outstanding - maybe 200 yards away. You can hear the waves from the balcony. The pools were too cold to swim in when we were there (mid Feb), but the hot tub was just fine. The balcony is small but sheltered from the wind, so we ate breakfast on it in the mornings, sat to read during the day, and sat to listen to the waves at night. It is a very quiet condo complex. One thing that is not clear in the description is that there is no clothes washer/dryer actually in the unit. There is a pay laundry somewhere in the complex, but we were never able to locate it. The beach itself is very nice - we spent some hours there almost every day. It is a few miles from Fort Morgan (very nice), 20-25 minutes from the Gulf Shores stores/restaurants, and about an hour from the USS Alabama in Mobile (recommended to visit!). There were a couple of issues that aren't deal-breakers: the screen door to the balcony didn't open/close very smoothly at all, and the dishwasher leaked a little so we didn't use it. Overall, we would come back here again to stay due to the excellent beach access, the quietness, and the affordability compared to similar properties that we looked at.

The place was clean for the most part, bathroom needed a little more detail, the pool access was not accurate, as the listing said indoor pool, but we didn’t have access to it. It is a 20 minute drive to town one way, but the views and neighborhood were great.
