The property was very clean and secure. The rooms were a good size and the air conditioning was quiet and efficient. There was plenty of hot water and the shower was excellent. Jeronimo was a really good host and sent us plenty of information in advance. A very good communicator. Patient too - especially having being called out to deal with a persistent loud noise in the apartment that turned out to be my battery toothbrush in the ceramic holder vibrating against the bathroom mirror!
The area was quite poor and the uber drivers sometimes seemed to have a little difficulty locating us.

Both the apartment and the public areas of the building were spotlessly clean. Apartment was perfect for our 3 night stay (3 adults). Well equipped, good air conditioning and bakery and mini market very close by.
Excellent communication from the owner - we arrived late at night (after midnight), but there was no problem getting access to the apartment building and getting the keys.
Bus stop on the main road right beside the apartment for bus to/from the old town.
A bit further from the old town than some other places - mainly downhill into town and uphill on the way home. However public transport is inexpensive and fairly frequent, so not a big problem.
A little bit of construction noise from renovations going on in an adjacent building - it was quiet at night, but work started around 8:30.

Excellent location, out of the tourist area but close enough for either walking or a short commute. Some great bakeries and restaurants close by. Grocery stores a short distance away.
Not much we didn’t like. The only small issue, the mattress in one room should be replaced. Probably the only reason I didn’t rate a ten.

The apartment is walking distance to almost everything we wanted to see and do. Only had to Bolt to airport or to activities when short on time. We felt safe and the owner responded immediately to any questions we had.
No washcloths. And a drying rack for clothes would be nice.
