About this lodge
Sequoya Lodge features 5 bedrooms and 5 full baths including three master suites with king beds, one with queen bed, and one with 2 twin beds. The Lodge has two levels, each with it's own fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher/microwave/refrigerator with ice maker, laundry facility, and full length enclosed porch with a wall of windows and lots of comfortable seating and wonderful lake views. The main level has beautiful pine walls and ceilings and features a huge great room with two inviting sofas and flat screen TV with VCR and satellite reception. The lower level has a recreation room with leather sofas, game table, flat screen TV with DVD and satellite reception. And, there is free wi-fi. The lower level rec room also contains a queen sleeper sofa for those needing to maximize sleeping quarters. And, for more relaxing lake viewing there is a another full length enclosed porch. Adjoining the main level great room is a dining room with seating for 12 as well as another dining area within the great room with seating for 8 and the lower level rec room has a dining area with seating for 6.

The home was great for conversations with several areas to explore and was decorated for the holidays! As some have mentioned, the driveway is steep, but not an issue with normal weather. There is a grocery store and several good restaurants within a 5 to 10 mile drive. The area was nice and quiet!

The house was very comfortable and furnished nicely. The kitchen was very well stocked with every appliance and utensils needed to cook large meals, which we did. We had a great time!

We were looking for a place where my wife and I could enjoy spending time with her brothers and her sister and their spouses. This place hit the nail on the head!

House needs serious deep cleaning and updating. Mouse droppings in kitchen draws. Air vents packed with dust. Downstairs musty! Cobwebs and dead bugs and stink bugs on floors and ceiling corners. Bedroom walls covered in dust. Deck unsafe and needs repair. Limited view of lake. Deck covered with debris (we had to ask TN family member to bring over a blower so we could clear the debris). Deck furniture broken and falling apart. Driveway is at 20% grade and crumbling! Unsafe to walk up or down! Trees and bushes overgrown onto driveway - impassible without scratching vehicles. I will not be renting this home again when visiting TN next.
