Situated in Lake Conroe, this lovely house for $325 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Located in the private, gated April Sound Country Club neighborhood, this waterfront home is the perfect getaway from the city with all of the amenities and comforts of home. The home has a private, covered boat house with a lift and offers a gated yard perfect for your family pet. The home has been fully renovated with all new appliances, bathrooms, fixtures, and furnishings. The master is located on the first floor with a door to walk out to the patio. There is an elevator to accommodate families with special needs or health limitations. The kitchen, dining and open living room are all located on the second floor and feature a gorgeous 180 degree view of the water. This property faces northwest and enjoys a gorgeous sunset in the evening. There are two bedrooms upstairs that sleep 6 in total along with a fully renovated bathroom with dual sinks and a large, open shower. The laundry room is located in the garage along with an additional refrigerator for extra food and beverage storage. Garage and street parking is available to guests. When booking this property, the amenities of our Country Club membership are extended to our guests. You can enjoy the 3 pools, adult hot tub, and newly reconstructed cabana at the April Sound Swimming Pool for a fee, per Club Corp's October 2020 policy change. You will also enjoy access to the Club Fitness Room and April Sound Pheonix Grill (restaurant that overlooks the water; access to restaurant included, all food and beverage purchases must be paid by guest) - also for a fee, per Club Corp's October 2020 policy change. There are two large parks located in April Sound, both with new equipment and large open spaces for soccer, basketball, and a baseball diamond. April Sound is a gated, private, and highly secured neighborhood. Safety is a neighborhood commitment, this is a great place for children and families to enjoy evening walks, bike rides, etc. There are areas to step down into the water from the bulkhead to swim right in front of the property! Enjoy jumping in and floating! There is an area to the left of the peninsula in front of the property that is a no wake zone - perfect for swimming in calmer waters on a choppy day! Club Information for pool and Country Club access: Temporary Access Cards The Club will create and make available at the Club’s reception desk a temporary access card for all Renters listed on the Renter Access Agreement. Each adult Renter (18 or older) must provide an approved photo ID at the reception desk and complete any Club-required documents. The Renter Fee will then be billed to the Sponsoring Member’s account at the Club. Renter Fees Weekend charge (up to three consecutive days, but does not have to be over the weekend) • For a Family of up to five people (two adults and three children under the age of 23) = $100.00 • Each additional family member under the age of 23 = $10.00 • Each single adult = $50.00 Weekly charge (four to seven consecutive days) • For a Family of up to five people (two adults and three children under the age of 23) = $150.00 • Each additional family member under the age of 23 = $15.00 • Each single adult = $75.00 Renter Fees are non-refundable and are subject to applicable taxes and future increases. Home was perfectly suited for a small family or 3 couples. The master bedroom and bathroom is downstairs and two other bedrooms are upstairs plus the kitchen and living room. The kitchen is very well appointed, living room is super comfy and leads out into the patio where you can see the lake. Highly recommended. It is in a gated community and it is a quiet neighborhood.

This was our annual Christmas tour to Houston (we live in Dallas). We always stay on Lake Conroe and this house/condo was the best yet. It is fully stocked and is an amazing set up, kids up stairs, large private master down. Host was super responsive when we had questions. Great trip, this is a house I would fully recommend. (ps. there is an elevator which was great for the grandmas).

While in between a move we found this house. The host was quick to respond and very easy to deal with. Great location overlooking the lake and very quiet. Clean house and had all the essentials. Another plus was that it was pet friendly. We would stay again and recommend to friends and family.

This is our second time staying here, and we love it. The host is very accommodating, and the view is amazing. Having coffee on the porch is our favorite thing to do.

I want to start out and say the house was very nice and clean and the host was quick to reply! The screened in porch was nice in the morning, the kitchen was stocked for cooking, and there was plenty of room for my family and our dogs. The back yard is smaller than it appears on the photos which wasn’t a huge deal since we didn’t spend much time there. The reason why I can’t give 5 stars is because of the A/C. I admit we were there on some of the hottest days of summer, but an A/C unit should function well enough to maintain a comfortable temperature. 80 is not comfortable. Even when the A/C cooled down at night, it could not keep up by noon and by 4pm it was 78+ and the temperature didn’t start to come down til after 9pm. We were sweating through dinner and had to retreat to our own rooms in the evening because it was not comfortable to hang out in the living room. There is only 1 A/C unit for the whole house, while the other homes on the street all have at least 2. All that being said, during cooler months I would come back to this property.

The house was very nice. Great view. It’s a shame the beautiful trees block some of the view. The only things I would say on it is they didn’t clean too
well from the people that stayed right before us, which bothered me, and the line to get into the neighborhood with the guards got old when you were going in and out. But we had a relaxing time with the beautiful lake views. We were very happy with our stay.

This gorgeous and innovative home was in a prime location on the lake. Close to all the conveniences; we enjoyed luxury living with access to all the water activities to enjoy. Elise was prompt and friendly for any questions we had. The home was thoughtfully stocked and organized. The screened-in deck upstairs was the perfect place to watch gorgeous sunsets or have our morning coffee with an awesome view. We look forward to going back to have more special times at this awesome home!

If you like staying at a place where the neighbor has music blaring for 5 hours non-stop until the time of curfew at 10pm and you can't hear each other on the porch overlooking the lake and if you like having this "loud" neighbor come to your fence line to curse and yell at you for reporting the loud noise that scare your grandchildren to tears, this is the 'nightmare' place for you. This was not for us. We left after only 3 days into our 6 day vacation stay and took the financial hit for the "lost" vacation days.

The home was in the perfect location with beautiful views! We loved having the screened in porch that over looked the lake. Really allowed us to enjoy the patio with out the annoying mosquitoes. Home was very clean, beds were very comfy and easy check in and communication. Having the elevator was nice for carrying everything in and out. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

This is a lovely property and is as described. The kitchen is well appointed. The beds were nice but the sheets on 2 beds kept coming off as they were very worn. The pillows on the bed were really hard but there are extras in the closet i switched out so it was okay. I left an item and the cleaning crew located it and returned it so that was appreciated. We had a nice stay.

My sister and I decided to take a stay-cation (we live in the Houston area) over the Thanksgiving weekend, and we selected this home because it allowed pets and was directly on the water. While the weather certainly didn't cooperate, at least we were able to hunker down in comfort in this lovely home.
The owner is quite easy to communicate with, always responding super quickly, so check-in went well and the house was clean upon arrival. The beds were comfy, there were a lot of blankets for us to use, since it was a chilly time of year, and the gas fireplace in the living area was quite a nice touch.
We especially appreciated the elevator to get our kitchen supplies and suitcases to the second floor. The primary bedroom on the main floor is massive, with it's own private patio, and had the weather been better, we definitely would have enjoyed that more.
We cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed, except a bigger cutting board would be appreciated. If you do come in the summer, know that the upstairs porch is screened in, very important, and your fur kids have their own gated grass area in the backyard as well.
Overall, besides a few minor maintenance issues (light bulbs out in elevator, both bathrooms and over stove), we were quite happy.

We enjoyed the property, but had a less than great experience communicating with the host for several reasons .The property itself is in a good location with a great view and very clean. The downstairs outdoor area needs a bit of maintenance to cut the vines off of the outdoor table and chairs. Having been a host myself, I found the check-in instructions to sound a bit threatening rather than welcoming with all of the do's and don'ts and lots of fines mentioned throughout, and I was a bit surprised the host didn't check in with us during a 4 night stay. Overall, we had a good stay, but it's not just about the property, but the experience as a whole...

The property was beautiful and right on the lake. The screened deck overlooking the lake was the biggest hit. We had our elderly parents with us so the elevator was a great bonus. Elise was very prompt with any questions that we had.

This is the 2nd time in 4 months that we’ve rented this house. It’s amazing. Clean. Beautifully decorated. Anything you could possibly need or want. View is absolutely breathtaking. Elise, the owner is very welcoming and responds very very quickly. The elevator was great for my 81 year old mother. Love the house! Can’t wait to rent it again.

The house is lovely, and set far back into the community so the only sounds you hear are from the Lake! Having an elevator in the house made moving in and out a breeze. Plenty of room and a variety of spaces so everyone can find their “spot” throughout the day. Elise, our host, was helpful throughout our time there and was always available through chat or a call. Would definitely rent again!!!

My husband & I took my mother-in-law to Elise's home for her 85th n Mother's day combo trip. My MIL adored sitting on the screened in porch and watching all the activities on the lake. It's really nice that there is a bedroom on the same floor with the kitchen, living area and porch. The home is decorated really nicely. It was clean. Nice appliances. Extra frig in garage if needed. Extremely nice host.

The house was very nice and I loved the elevator since I have a lung condition and can't really do stairs. I was never able to get local channels on the T.V. in the living room and with the T.V. in the master, no volume. I also could not find either of the 2 playgrounds and when we asked, we were given wrong directions. Overall, it was a good weekend. Thank youi!

Overall, this is a great place to stay as a family or a few couples, or group of friends. The inside is updated and very comfortable. The photos represent the place well. The screened porch is a big plus to allow sitting outside bug-free. There is a great open green space behind the property that is for public use, but you could surely enjoy it on a nice day. There was a different family having a picnic out there at sunset...great idea on a nice evening. We did not have a boat, but would imagine this would be amazing to have your boat outside the back door at your private dock. The small fenced yard was an added bonus for our small dog. We would definitely stay here again should the need arise .

This was our first time to Lake Conroe.The house is easy-to- find and in a quiet location. The inside of the home is nicely decorated as pictured. Kitchen was well-stocked. Mattresses were comfy. Loved the view from the upstairs enclosed patio. As someone else mentioned, the patios could use some dusting/care.The property mgr /owner was easily accessible via text/VRBO messenger, which was great!

I want to start out with the positives. The house was great - it was beautifully furnished and worked perfect for my family and dogs. My only complaint is the spider webs and possible mold around the windows in the master bedroom. It just needs a deep cleaning. The other spaces around the house were very clean. My biggest complaint is the HOA rules for the April Sound neighborhood and the lack of communication between us and the property manager/owner. We rented this house specifically for the boat slip and location. We were told by Elise, the property manager/owner that we could not park our boat trailer at the house which is completely understandable because the houses are very close together and there isn't any additional room for trailers. We were told we could park the boat trailer at the marina for a fee. We were told to get a pass from the security office and pay the fee when we arrived. This was not the case!When we arrived at the security office, the security officer told us the rules had changed a month ago (July/August) and they were not allowing non-residents to park trailers at the neighborhood marina under any circumstances. Luckily my husband was familiar with the area so after we unloaded the boat, he had to drive out of the neighborhood and park his trailer at another storage facility which was super inconvenient. I immediately called Elise to discuss this matter and she told me she sent me all this information the night before our stay (which was not the case). Even if she had sent us this information the night before, we would not have time to cancel and find another house. She should have informed us of this when the new rule took effect so we could find different accommodations that wouldn't make it so difficult to park our trailer. When we rented this house months in advance, my husband spoke with her numerous times about his boat so she knew we were bringing a boat. After taking a second look through all the information she sent us the night before our stay, there was absolutely no information regarding the new rule stating that non-residents could no longer park their trailer at the April Sound marina even though she claimed there was. It gave us a map of the marina and which parking spots we could use to park our trailer. My guess is she forgot to update the information packet she sends out to guests.
