My room was adaquate. Clean. Safe. The hotel had an exercise room. Staff was friendly and accommadating. Nothing fancy, no frills but comfortable. And closest to my destination.

Hotel was great very quiet neighborhood front counter help was excellent. They fixed a noise complaint from people upstairs partying quickly. Only complaint i have is the heater/ac unit was extremely noisy i unplugged it and all was good

I travel quite a bit and am willing to spend a few dollars more for the convenience where breakfast is included in the price. And I am aware that Days Inn is not a luxury chain. However, in this case, calling what was presented “breakfast” is too charitable - but somehow this hotel gets away with charging for it as part of the room rate. Even well before 7 a.m. when one would expect there to be some choices, the main attraction was a “choice” of individual slices of bread in clear baggies (not even the zip-locking kind). I did see several miniature cellophane wrapped pastries of a dubious nature and 2 (count them) packets of instant oatmeal. No other choices of hot or cold cereal. No fresh or packaged fruit. No dairy. No eggs. Powdered creamer if you chose to brew your own coffee. No visible tea bags. There’s a Dunkin’ Donuts across the parking lot and it would probably benefit this hotel to make a deal with that store to serve its stale donuts from the previous day as a breakfast option. Maybe the hotel dietician works at one of the dozen or so nearby correctional facilities and can’t differentiate between wards of the state and paying customers.

Hallway smelt like stale cigarettes. The bed was very comfortable but was not a true queen size. More like a full.. Could have used 2 cups instead of the one provided amd soap as well.

This is our go-to spot when visiting Canastota. It is clean and quiet, and newly renovated. We have always had a good experience here.

Front desk staff was very helpful. I left an item behind and the morning front desk person went to check the room. I am must appreciative. Bed was nice; pillow was weird.

Nice convenient place to stay

the stay was great convient but it was a very funny experiance due the fact you just got new beds our bed made a banging sound when you got on or off and also moving the young lady can in and inspected it and kindly got us another room I found it just so funny would recomend to stay there thank you

Convenient needed last minute reservations. No coffee pot in room, broken chain lock on door.

It might be worth $50, not 200 I wouldn't have stayed if I wasn't so tired and everything else was booked.

Old and tired. Nasty breakfast choices. Very helpful night clerk (Michelle), but otherwise, not much to smile about. An outpost in the outback.

The staff were pretty chill and they do allow a late check-out. (I stayed 7 days) and had a 16hr drive back home.

Was close to the Turing Stone Casino, 15 minutes away.

Room is Filthy! Missing smoke detector! The safety lock broken off. Carpets in the hall ways are disgusting. Don't even consider breakfast.

Woken up by housekeeping trying to clean our room first thing this morning. Won't be staying here again!

The motel is located right off the NYS thruway and had better prices than other similar brand and style lodgings in the central NY corridor. The staff was amazing-- they moved us to another room so we didn't have to haul luggage up stairs. Dog friendly, too, and put in a decent room versus the dog owner room that's an insult. Routinely recommend a local bar & grille we learned that had outstanding food and service, too.

A good overnight stay, staff helpful, breakfast a little light on options

Central location

When I checked in, I was charged $80 more than I had been told my entire stay would cost. I inquired about the over charge and I was told that it was a hole that they put on my card but I would be receiving that back. They didn’t know exactly when that would depend on my bank.. there is no reason why I can understand that they would overcharge me. There is nothing stocked in your refrigerator. There are barely things in there that one needs shampoo. I used your blow dryer after about a minute it quit working on me. I called to ask for towels, more towels, and I was told that if I brought my dirty ones down at the front desk, they would give me clean ones too, which I asked her to bring the clean ones up to me on the first floor to reach there was a staircase that had to be walked, and I recently had surgery on my ankle and walking up and down. Those steps was not easy or convenient for me. She did bring the clean towels up and took the dirty towels with her but the fact that she asked me to do her job was ridiculous , the bathroom tub the floor of the tub was dirty there’s not a single drawer in the room with which to unpack my suitcase and put things in a drawer. I will never come back to your hotel and the $80 will be credited back to my card quickly, I have stayed at many hotels over the last couple of years traveling with my son to different colleges. He got a full ride scholarship at Colgate in Hamilton. New York will be coming to your area often I will not return there.

Front office staff were friendly and efficient. Cleanliness was poor both in room and exterior were dirty and not well maintained

A picture frame was taken off the wall but the mounts for it still hung there. Smallest queen bed I’ve ever seen. The holes from bolts or screw and stains in the ceiling were bad. The breakfast is almost nonexistent. Pillows were hard stuffed with no support for your head. The weeds growing out the side of the building. The staff is great, very friendly and helpful but it doesn’t seem like anyone cares for the building.
