The hotel (room, staff, breakfast) were all excellent - and there was a pool, fitness room, restaurant and casino on site. There was a retail park with plenty of shops (including groceries and dining options) within 5mins of the hotel, by walking through the car park.
The area felt safe.
Although a little out from the centre of LA (30-40 mins via public transport), the hotel was well located for public transit to LAX and to Long Beach.
The only negative was that the gate which used to directly connect the metro station to the hotel is now sealed off - so it is a 10 min walk from the station (bus and metro) to the hotel...and probably one you would not want to make with any luggage more than a backpack and small wheelie case.
Overall, a great stay - and I would happily stay there again.

The stay was great. The staff was very friendly. The seafood restaurant attached was also great. We had 12 people in our group and everyone enjoyed their food. Good price, good stay and good food.
The negative was the bed was not the most comfortable. We stayed there two different times and the second room we received did not have a tissue holder in the bathroom.

Definitely older building, rooms are clean, but very old and dated. Feels like 1970s las Vegas. Price is appropriate for how dated the rooms are. All the essentials are available, breakfast was good, definitely worth $90. I appreciated it the underground secured parking. I would stay here again

I’ve stayed here several times in the past 3 years. There was a manager named Mike but I have not seen him the last two times I stayed. My stay this time could have started out better. I was placed in a room that looked nothing like the rooms I’m used to staying in. The furniture was old and a yellowish color, no desk, refrigerator on the floor and the beds were terrible. I asked for a different room and at first I was told that was the only room and that I would not be able to upgrade to a King bed room. After waiting for about 20 minutes I was told they had a room for me. I’ve never experienced this at this hotel before but glad it was rectified.

The hotel was very nice! Clean and good value. Highly recommend. The breakfast is not the best. The coffee was not good. The area around the hotel is okay.

The hotel it’s self is great the are leaves a lot to be desired. The staff are fantastic especially the good morning lady who takes care of breakfast.

Checking in took awhile and i was the only one there. There was 2 girls working and one finally pointed to the other one and said she can help you. The pool had a pad lock on it. We called to see if they would open it. After 30 min my wife called back and the lady at the front desk said sorry i forgot to ask. We waited another 30 min and called back to hear her ask someone in the backround and tell us no they would not open it. My kids were very disappointed. Also beds were very uncomfortable.

I have been there many times, the only thing that i didn't like it it was the towels, all the towels were dirty with yellow spots.
Will be good to change the breakfast menu at least 2 or 3 times.

Maggie at the front desk was amazing and so helpful. I had just gotten in from a cruise, where I had lost my phone. She not only got me into a room early. She was able to assist me with getting copies for my flight as well as advising that I had access to a computer in the reception area so that I could put in a new request to Verizon for a new phone.

Stay 4 nights with family. Property was close to highway, restaurants and other convenience stores. However, the property is dated and needed a a lot of improvement. The gym is ridiculous, the machine are old and some broken snd the rest seems unsafe to use. So go for walks instead. Pool door was locked when try to go and staff was unaware it was not open. Property is clean in some areas. The furniture is dated in the room the bed is uncomfortable, make noises when you move around or to get out of the bed. There’s one microwave for each floor.
Staff was courteous and kind greet is politely.

You could not inter the hotel through the front door. You had to use the side door. Very confusing on how or where to get in the hotel. I watched severial customers take 30 min. wondering around not knowing how to get in.
I said something and the staff didn't care.

Really enjoyed my 3 night stay here. Felt safe and the hotel was short distance from surrounding stores and food. Staff was nice and the hotel was clean
