For both nights we were there, the internet in our room didn't work. We were there for college orientation and working at night for our businesses and needed significant wifi access. We never had functional wifi in our room. We called the front desk both nights trying to access wifi and received no effective response. They advised us they "would tell someone" but it never came on. We were in room 430 and they told us it was the location of our room and we needed to come to the lobby each time we needed to use the internet. No one took ownership to assist.

Clean and friendly. Garbage trucks were extremely loud. Interiors could use a refresh.

The hotel is conveniently located near campus. It has spacious rooms and bathrooms but was a bit dated and worn out.

Nice place. Clean and convenient to the city of Oxford and the south end of Miami’s campus. Easy parking. A little noisy when the bars close for the night :) but overall a nice place and I would stay here again.

Book with confidence as this establishment is top notch. Very clean and comfortable, you can tell that the staff takes pride in providing quality accommodations for their guests. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, blackout curtains, minimal sounds from outside the room. Good tv reception and variety of channels, parking across the street, walk to shops, campus, restaurants!

At first, the price seemed reasonable, but then we discovered breakfast was not a part of the package. I will stay at the Hampton next time which includes breakfast. Coffee was available but cheap set-up. Overall, did not match the promoted atmosphere and history of the hotel. Just an average place.
The Pickle and Pig was excellent food. Service was not the professional level I would expect from initial impression when walking in. Waitress did not have a servant approach to her role.

I have stayed at this property many times throughout the years. It is comfortable and very conveniently located. The negatives: It is dated and could definitely use a refresh, the towels are thin and scratchy and you are not given many, the heat/AC is very noisy, and if there are people in the room above - you will hear them.

I stayed here for the first time and was not impressed. I did not find it very comfortable. I was automatically charged for parking, when I didn't use the parking lot, had trouble getting someone at the front desk and when I did, he was not very helpful. I prefer the Hampton Inn in Oxford.

This is only walkable hotel to campus, so it is good for that reason. It is noisy being uptown, but the rooms are clean and bed comfortable. I wish there had been food to purchase other than expensive dinner, but free coffee was great. Staff friendly!

I enjoyed my two-day at the Elms, and would recommend it to fellow Expedia travelers. Everything is nice and in order. Styling is decided Old-School. My only complaint is that there is no refrigerators in the rooms, at least not in my King Standard room. I need a refrigerator for my medication.

Our room had a window right by where the dumpsters were. The dumpsters were being picked up at 7am and the noise from that along with another truck coming was about 40 minutes long and loud. Trash being brought out that morning was also very noisy and I was unable to sleep after 7am.
The room was dirty. The toilet seat and the shower were not cleaned well. I don't think the bed frame was ever cleaned.
The staff were very nice.

Beautiful property and a very friendly desk. That was the best part of this hotel. Didn't really like their parking situation but loved the location.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel. It was super convenient for visiting Miami and exploring the downtown Oxford area. And the front desk staff was nice enough to allow us to have a late check out.

The elms is nice but outdated. It is in a college town with a really nice college and would think it would be updated a little more. Overall it was clean but just dark in the halls and rooms.
