As for the great indoors, you can come inside and enjoy the free WiFi and TV. This vacation rental features a sitting area, a BBQ grill, air conditioning, and blackout drapes/curtains. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer, free toiletries, and towels. Prepare a home-cooked meal in the kitchenette, complete with an oven, a stovetop, and a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, as well as a coffee maker, a microwave, and cookware. Booked this last minute for a birthday weekend. The smell in the hallways and the room was very off-putting. There are large trash bins in the hallways for guests to use as they check out, but the trash lingers. The bunk beds are very narrow and sized for a toddler. We used the couch bed instead.

Check in was a breeze, View was amazing, location was perfect. Kelly was efficient and accommodating. I look forward to staying there again.

Check in was ridiculous. Apparently, the clerk could not read. He told us he did not have our reservation. After wasting over 20 min trying to rectify the issue with Hotels.com, another agent found the reservation instantly. It was there all along.
Condo was very small and not all that comfortable. However, it was clean.

Room was way to small. Pool was not warm and the hot tub was not hot. The smell in the room was as strong chemical. Would not recommend. Zero amaetiies.

It was great for the price we paid. The unit we were given had a few issues but we worked around them. It would be nice to have a dishwasher but the kitchen is too small to support one. We would stay again at the rate we had.

Check in guy was cheerful and helpful. Parking underneath was great for when it was raining.

Great location: walk across the street is the beach, and a lot of convenient stores, restaurants, and coffee places nearby. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only shortcoming is the room is old. With the reasonable price, it is not surprising the interior is outdated. But the smell of old and humidity is a big issue. I don't think it is very hard to fix that.

A perfect little home away from home. The hotel was clean and a very comfortable walk just across from Pier 61. We will definitely recommend and stay here again.

Casa Del Mar was a great place to stay. The property was spotless, it was decorated beautifully and there was plenty of room for the four of us. If we're ever in the Galveston Beach area again, we will definitely stay here.

Everything was great except the pressure to check-out by 11am. When you are staying for one night and out late to 1-2am enjoying your time in Galveston the pressure in phone calls to the room the next morning to be out by 11am was a little unreasonable. Especially asking me if I wanted to purchase another night simply because I was a little past the 11am checkout time. Also considering their 4pm check-in time.

We loved that they had 2 pools for this property and they were very different and both clean! The room is small and narrow but if you don’t stay in your room much it isn’t a problem. We stayed for 4 nights and never had maid service or our towels refreshed which was the only thing we were really unhappy about.

Check in staff not friendly. Seemed annoyed by my check in. Didnt know where my info was. Had to get someone else. Otherwise fine. Very small space!! It would be nice if they had onsite restaurant. Also, gym would be helpful.

My kids loved the bunkbeds. Room was a little tight. No paper towels, no dish sponges and not enough bath towels. Partial beach view, photo was zoomed in.

The condo was clean the pool water was a bit warm. Overall our stay was comfortable. I would rent again the grandkids had a great time.

Our stay at casa Del Mar was great. It is a close walk to the beach as well as some fast food dining options and grocery. The view was great and the room was comfortable for our family of 4. However, the pools were both warm (like bath water) and the elevator was extremely slow. We also stayed on the side closest to 61st street and the road noise was a bit much— we tolerated it but it is something that could possibly bother other people. Overall, we would stay at Casa Del Mar again.

We loved it. Air conditioner worked awesome. Stocked kitchen. We didn’t have to buy silverware or bowls and plates. Close to everything we were doing. Beds were comfortable. 10 out of 10

Staff was great and is in a great location. I think the only thing they need is to add breakfast for the price they charge. Other then that everything was great

Room was okay not real comfortable. Couch was terrible to sleep on no bed. Rooms were being worked on for new furniture. Probably will stay somewhere else next time. Pretty disappointed.

I didnt realize we had to bring our own toiletries.I didnt like that we had to buy cheap overpriced beach towels. Had I known the property didn't furnish them I would have brought my own. The furniture is old and super uncomfortable. The dining table thing wobbled like crazy. Room was small but ok. The toaster burned everything. The lid on the coffee pot wouldnt close. The staff was not friendly or smiled in the lobby. They must hate their jobs. Would not recommend. No room cleaning.

Clean, well maintained condos, just across Seawall Blvd. from the beach, with a stop light there to get you across safely. Nice pools as well!
