Good stay out there had to go to four different floors to find ice and beds were getting worn out

Hotel staff was unsupportive. We reach just 30 min early and they ask to to pay early checkin charge. We choose to wait. After 30 min when we go back to check in they said there are no rooms available right now. We have to wait. We have to wait another hour to get rooms. They were super arrogant in communication too. Rest of stay was pleasant. Clean spacious rooms.

Front desk staff was unpleasant. I asked about the possibility of getting a 25 minute early check-in and was told it would cost me $20.00. That is so petty.

Great time staying over. Room had a few stains and damages. Also the elevators weren't very quick

Room was large and clean and the resort was nice. Definitely would go back again.

We have been here several times over the years and will probably go back but sure noticed the hotel needs some upgrading. Torn carpet held together with duct tape and definitely needs better lighting.

Check in was a little confusing. I wasnt asked if i had ever stayed there before or how to get to my room. Had to ask another gentleman for direction but other then that the stay was very nice. The hallway outside noise was very minimal which was a good thing. Room was very clean and well maintained .

Please get your elevators working. It took forever to get in and out of the rooms. Plastic cups at the tables? And the food Asian place not good and the breakfast is not good. Just really has gone down hill.

Rooms were spacious and furnishings were comfortable.

The front staff was very professional and efficient. I greatly appreciated the $50 pre authorization on my Credit Card and not the $100 pre authorization that most hotels charge. The Hotel, Room, and Casino was clean and well maintained. The Penn Play Desk was very friendly, and the Staff Member explained the new promotion which I took advantage of and received a Camel Back backpack for. Overall it was a great Hotel & Casino experience hence the 5 Stars rating for them. Sadly the only Restaurant open at the Ameristar is the Timberline Grill which was not 5 Stars. From the extensive wait for the Hostess to greet customers (she was busy chatting with the staff and then used the facilities without any consideration to the line of people at the door) to the slow waitress service (I was the waitresses only table), to the Chef not being accommodating (They had eggs on the menu and I asked for an Omelet which the Chef said NO to because they “stopped serving omelets at 11:00 ) With only 6 tables with customers in the entire restaurant at Noon on a Thursday, and only 2 tables / 3 people total who haven’t ordered yet, I thought they would make an omelet for me, but I was wrong

We had a nice deluxe king room. The coffee maker is definitely out dated and low budget. The toilet didn’t flush so we called the front desk. The maintenance person was there in minutes and fixed the problem. Super nice guy. We had a good time

Great views, great check in. Bed noisy as can be with even the slightest move. Pillows are comfy

Overall the stay was good. All but 2 of the elevators were down Thursday night which added up to a ton of standing around and waiting. The main purpose of my visit was to watch March Madness games at the sports book. Early Friday afternoon, all of the TVs went down. No update was given or explanation of what was going on. I waited for about half an hour before deciding to go elsewhere.

Beautiful room, very spacious and comfortable.

Room was clean and nice. Mid March, heat off, AC on and the room was still very warm. Not comfortable. Also strange that there were no 24hour food options for a hotel casino.

The room and staff were great. Restaurant for breakfast was awful - we were sure a microwave warmes up most of it.

Yummy ramen and wonderful spa experience. Staff at front desk pretty put out and I was charged a resort fee above what I paid on the site fyi.

Hot tubs were good and hot. The outside one was nice. Pool was closed but there wasn't any signage on the reason why.

What hotels.com failed to mention was the resort fee.My one day stay turned into $250. Very expensive and should have been disclosed. It was a surprise

Pool, hot tub were great. Loved the bathroom in my room. Lots of space. Air conditioning does not cool that great. Had 3 parties in 3 different rooms with the same issue. Need to improve AC.

Room was little run down. Beds were not very comfortable. Room was hot to sleep in and would not cool down even with thermostat set in the 50s. Second time staying here and having temperature issues in room.

I was amazed how cheap the drinks were and the food in the restaurants was great. The pool was a kid fest. So if you dont have kids book a spa treatment so you can enjoy that. But I'd go back with friends again.

Stay so far has been wonderful

Way too expensive for what you get! $300 for 1 night is ridiculous! NO WORKING AIR-CONDITIONING, NO STREAMING SERVICES ON TV, HORRIBLE LIGHTING IN BATHROOM. We'll be staying at Monarch or Lady Luck in the future.

My first stay at Ameristar for a wedding weekend and it was awesome. The room was clean and comfortable, and supe convient to walk to all the different casinos to expand the fun past jist whar Ameristar offered. Would reccoment thia hotwl over others in the area. Rooftop hot tub was a dream.

We only got to stay 5 hours room had electric issues of and heater issues REFUSED another room said full offered 17.00 refund on 267.00 room have pictures of this room and issues. Maintenance even told us there’s a HVAC issue that they would get someone to switch us rooms. Hour after hearing nothing tried to call but now the phone and electricity issue have moved further thru the room. Front desk manger said sorry can’t do anything but give you 17.00 since it was booked on epieda. This hotel is a joke

The hotel is very nice, although it seems to be in need of a decorating update. The pool area, hot tubs and firepits were amazing.

Our bed was not very comfortable like it was last time we stayed. It was very noisy all the the night into the morning with people opening and slamming doors constantly. There was also a ticking sound that wouldn’t stop. There was a nail clipping on the counter from a previous customer. Not too happy with this last stay.

King spa was a great room, large. Huge fireplace, bar and bathroom. Service at the casino was terrible. Thankfully we had drinks in the room. All day no server. Good at fireside was absolutely terrible. No food options after 9Pm. Except vending machine pizza.
