Rained a lot. The hotel provided us with nice strong umbrellas. Breakfast included every day. Great happy hour. Located in the heart of everything and attached to a brewery.

Ocean views are not really so much an ocean view. It had buildings in front of the view. Still a nice hotel

King Bed (Waikiki View) - 8/10. Clean. Great size. Not too quiet. Next to the lifts so regular ‘bonging’ of lift arrival. On the 9th floor, but still heard plenty of traffic noise. Bathroom - 10/10. Clean. Good size. Lovely shower. Great towels. Bed - 10/10. Very comfy. WiFi - 10/10. Good. Pool - 7/10. Knew it wasn’t big, but didn’t realise how small a pool/area it would be. Only 30 free (non payable) loungers available. Often all were in use (as you’d expect with hotel with nearly 500 rooms). Gym - 8/10. OK size with a variety of equipment. Spa - N/a. Staff - 10/10. From check-in to check-out, all the staff were friendly. Hotel - 8/10. Had high hopes for this hotel with it being #1 in Honolulu, but left feeling slightly disappointed. Despite being aware of the $40 per night Resort Fee, these charges frustrate me, considering that most hotels (outside of the US) don’t charge for these extras - - [ ] Wi-Fi. - [ ] The tea/coffee in the room wasn’t used as the drinks always had a weird taste (did get round this though with hot water from downstairs and own tea-bags). - [ ] The pool towels/pool area - see above. Just don’t see why these fees can’t be included in the nightly rate. That said, the hotel is nice, very modern and in a great location in Waikiki.

Super convenient location in heart of Waikiki. Family friendly—coffee shop, bar, pool, restaurant had relaxed vibe with something fun for all ages. Kids and adults enjoyed live music and swimming in the evenings (pool closes at 10 pm). Valet parking is expensive ($50 per night) but very secure and convenient; you can take the elevator from room to parking deck. All service was very professional. Room was a little worn: sliding bathroom door did not work properly; nor did manual door latch (electronic lock was in working condition); decorative shelving was dusty. Overall a good budget-friendly (compared to the other resorts) option for a family stay in Waikiki.

Excellent stay. Helpful staff. Within walking distance of beach, restaurants, buses and trolleys and shopping.

Great location downtown Honolulu. Easy to move around. Great staff. Helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean. We got there at 10 pm and there was some flooding in the hall of our room. They had several staff members who were both efficient and quit on cleanup. The next morning we never even knew anything has happened. If you want to see the Friday night fireworks you CAN NOT see them from the beach access directly across from the hotel.

Super friendly staff, very clean lobby and hotel. Across the street from the beach. Two restaurants on site. Pool, hot tub, and pool towels. Accommodating!!

Great property and excellent service. Centrally located in Waikīkī, close to beach, shops, and dining. Souvenir vendors right outside hotel and was a bonus.

I asked for a connecting room for my family. The hotel had 74% occupancy that week, so they were available but we were asked if we would be willing to pay $250 + tax to be given a connecting room, which seemed odd and unreasonable for an already expensive week. Our flight also landed early but we weren't able to check in until we paid $75.00. Everything just seemed like an up charge for something that was simply available. We've stayed here every year for the last 4 years, and we've checked in as early as 10am, but this time it was just a bad start to the trip. This was definitely our last time at Beachcomber. Our room was also very dirty and dark so we switched to a different room which definitely helped. All in all not a great birthday week and we were let down by Outrigger for a change.

This is a solid choice near Waikiki. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; our room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and breakfast each day was surprisingly varied and tasty. Would return

The hotel is excellent! It's centralized and very convenient. The rooms were much bigger than I expected and they were clean. All the staff were very friendly. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and will book it again.

The hotel was wonderful! Just wish the pool opened earlier and stayed open later. Props to the hotel for the breakfast vouchers. Maui Brewing company being so close was also nice too!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Cafe had excellent food and coffee right on site and a great area to eat in poolside. The WiFi and streaming service was great. The room was immaculate and had a great shower. The stay was terrific.

Wonderful place to stay

Overall a good stay. Not soundproof and on a busy bustling fun street! It’s where all the fun is. First night there was a popular band in the pool area that you had to pay to get in. And it was LOUD! Other nights we could hear bands but not as loud. Good news was that all the bands had a good sound at least and would be fun to watch. The little things about the room: not great lighting. Dark closet space where I put my suitcase. It was very hard to see in that space even with all the lights on and curtains open wide. And I’ve been use to a make up (magnifying) mirror in hotels these days. I only wear readers so it was hard to put on eye make up. And no full length mirror. So I had to take my husbands word for it that I looked terrific (but he always says that!). Other than that we had an excellent time in Hawaii and can’t wait to go back!

I like that it was centrally located. Great customer service in regards to the valet service.

Great hotel for a stay in the Waikiki area - convenient to everything, nice staff, good food options onsite, nice pool, beach access across the street...! The only issue we had was the street noise from our ocean-view balcony, but that goes with a Kalakaua Avenue location nowadays.

Outrigger Beachcomber is now my favorite hotel, I picked it as base during my wedding, all my friends who attended stayed there and they only had good things to say. It is very conveniently located, in the middle of all the good action, shopping, good coffee, stylish rooms which was the reason I picked it for my pre bridal photoshoot. Walkable to everywhere. Basically, clean, good service, stylish and a fun place to stay. I love how alive this hotel is. As soon as you take the escalators downstairs, BOOM! Life! You will love it!

I loved everything about this hotel! Perfect location for walking to beach, shopping, food. Love the coffee shop/bar — excellent food and service! Maui Brewing is a great convenient place to eat right in the hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. Love it and can’t wait to go back!

The location and property were great. Liked the added touch of filtered water station and recyclable water bottles.

Decent place to stay in Waikiki for the most part. They sometimes have parties at the Hawaiian Aroma Cafe that is right off the hotel lobby with extremely loud music and tons of people. I wish I would have been made aware of that before my stay because it was definitely unexpected and it made it hard to sleep.

Housekeeping or “someone else” stole a prescription out of our hotel room during our stay. I would hope that a hotel screens its employees better. Even more troubling, was that my medicine was tuck away in a bag in a drawer. So they rifled through all of our personal belongings. Finally, the manager didn’t even offer an apology. Big middle finger to this place.
