We had a great experience at Thanh Truc stay, my family and I loved the place and how amazing it was. It was beautifully maintained and the pool was the best. The stay became one of our most cherished memory of our stay in Vietnam. Its located just minutes away from the market that made it easy for us to explore Sapa to the best.
Nothing to change about this property. It’s nothing short of best.

Wunderschönes Tiny House mit Blick auf Natur. Zwei der Wände waren komplett Glas, was einen echt tollen Effekt macht. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Der lokale Markt und ein Supermarkt in Fußentfernung. Auch bei kaltem Wetter wurde es warm.
Die Ausstattung war ziemlich rudimentär. Kein Geschirr und Besteck, keine Steckdose im Bad. Die Beleuchtung kannte nur taghell und dunkel. Das kleine Fenster an der dritten Wand war nur mit einem Tuch verschlossen, kein Glas. Das Bett war sehr hart.
Die Aussicht geht auf nahe Bäume, nicht weiter ins Tal.
Das Tiny House liegt am wenig touristischen Ende Sapas, was die Wege zu den meisten guten Restaurants, Bars und Attraktionen relativ lang macht.
Als wir da waren (Winter) war der Pool leer und das Haupthaus die meiste Zeit leer.

The accommodation deserves a better location as it was a bit out of the way.
The accommodation was very comfortable.
We booked the pool room but you could book the main house for bigger groups.
Unfortunately whilst we were there the house had been rented out to a group of party goers and the noise was too much for us.

1. The location off the noisy city center was good for us.
2. We like the deck outside the room, to chill and drink (not much if a view though)
3. Host was responsive to our little requests including transport to Cat Cat (3km away) for 250,000VND (2 ways). Not exactly cheap but hassle free...
4. The deco outside with the lightings and plants at the entrance was nicely done.
1. The room floor felt like it hasn't been cleaned for a while. The toilet gets flooded when showering.
2. The private pool and space wasn't private at all. The bungalow that is also available for booking is right next to it. The host's family was occupying it when we arrived. Although they retreated into their own house behind it in the evening, we felt as if we had invaded their space with the frequent appearances of family members. It would probably be worse if the bungalow was occupied too. Would be good to build a divider to separate the 2 accomodations. Let the "private pool" be really private and not be in the open as it is now.
3. Breakfast not included. For the same price, this is the only accomodations out of 3 that we stayed in during the trip that doesn't provide breakfast.
