This place was a lifesaver for me during my trip to Porto. I initially stayed at an AirBnB far from city center with a stingy lady who claimed she had heating but didn't, and wouldn't let me turn on my space heater despite me literally shivering from the cold. Most of my days are actually spent working inside. I just needed a comfortable environment to do so. This apartment unit by Porto City Hosts provided exactly that, and I wish I just stayed here from the beginning. It's located within walking distance to city center, but far enough that it's quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood is safe, and a code is required to enter the building. Inside the unit you have a fully functional, fully stocked kitchen, literally packed with dishes, cups, pots and pans, etc. There's heating and cooling so you can adjust the temperature to your liking, plus lots of light sources at varying levels of brightness. The Wifi is fantastic. I was particularly concerned about this because I work remotely, and I also had two interviews during this week. Not once did I have an issue with internet; it worked flawlessly. The bathroom is clean and modern, with lots of shampoo, body gel, toilet paper, etc. And the view out of the window is actually really gorgeous, looking out into a garden with tons of flowering trees, plus rosy sunsets in the evenings. The basement level (Level -1) has a laundry room with one washer and dryer. I never had an issue using the machines, and the dryer dries your clothes thoroughly. What I really appreciate is that the hosts respond very quickly if you need help, but otherwise they've generously stocked the apartment so that you never need to reach out to them. The neighborhood feels very local/residential. There's a convenient supermarket nearby stocked with everything. There are a decent amount of restaurants within walking distance. The metro is a 5 minute walk away and so easy to use.

The only complaint I have is the slightly confusing instructions for check in. I think it's just a matter of wording, i.e. saying "building door code" and "unit door code" instead of using the blanket term "apartment," which could cause guests to confuse which codes are for which, the building or the unit? The team was very responsive via Whatsapp when I had issues though! They hopped on a vid call right away to help me out.

Bastante confortável e aconchegante. Banheiro grande e um chuveiro maravilhoso. Nos sentimos em casa. Super recomendamos !!! Lugar bem localizado e da pra ir a pé para alguns pontos turísticos. Fomos bem atendidos pela Joana e João.

Não temos nada a reclamar. Gostamos de tudo. Sugestão de melhoria é apenas para substituírem o aromatizador de ambiente do hall de entrada por uma fragrância mais suave .
