A beautiful, roomy one bedroom cabin nestled in the trees. Anchors Away features an open concept kitchen / living room complete with all the necessities and TV with Internet access. Sink in to the comfy king sized bed with adjoining 4 piece bathroom. Relax in a rocker on the front porch and enjoy the views of our property. Includes back porch and fire pit for evening s'mores and relaxing. Anchors Away is conveniently located between Star Pointe (4 miles), Eagle Cove (2 miles) and only 15 minutes to Sunset Marinas! Take advantage of all that the area has to offer and visit Cordell Hull Birthplace Museum and Bunkum Cave. Visit Livingston, TN for antiquing, shopping, town square and many restaurants and only 25 minute drive.

Overall a great place to stay, we’ve stayed here two years in a row and works nicely for what we need. But one big thing makes me hesitant to stay again. The mattress is awful. We ended up borrowing memory foam from a family member that lives near by to help pad the bed better so we could actually sleep the 2nd night and ended up not staying the third night and just going on home. Maybe time to invest in some memory foam or a new mattress.

A very nice and quiet place to stay. The cabin was very comfortable except for the hard bed. It also had several lights in the kitchen/living and bathroom that needed replacing as they were burnt out. Enjoyed watching the deer come and eat the pears from the tree next door each day. We fished each day on Dale Hollow Lake and the cabin was so convenient to the Marinas (Star Point was the best). Weather was perfect for just sitting on the back porch.

My husband and I love Dale Hollow Lake, and we have stayed in many cabins throughout the years…this was our favorite cabin!! It had everything we needed, was definitely the perfect size for the two of us, and had a lot of driveway/parking area for our truck and boat! Plus it was very close to Star Point Marina, which is our favorite boat ramp to put in. The Wilsons were very accommodating and quick to respond, any time we had questions! The only negative thing that I could say about the whole cabin or experience, would be that the bed was uncomfortable for both of us…a little on the hard side. But it still wasn’t something that would keep us from staying there again!! We had a wonderful time and loved our stay at this cute and cozy cabin! Thank you so much, for sharing your place with us!! We do plan to come back!Rick and Jamie

I really liked this peaceful cozy cabin! I was fishing a multi day tournament and this was perfect for my needs. Communication with the host was great and the check in and check out process was a snap. Only one minor thing was the bed’s mattress was a bit old and flimsy. Other than that everything was top notch!
