About this house rental
Quiet little farmland setting with a large yard with wildlife that will pass by frequently- Unwind & Refresh while lounging near the fire pit, roasting marshmallows or just relaxing in our cozy home, plenty of area shopping in the “Sweet Streets "Downtown, antiques, clothing and home goods, restaurants and coffee shops and a couple of great places for Ice cream. Just a few minutes south you’ll also find the Mayfield Dairy where you can tour the facility and even get a cone of Ice cream too-
Also if checking out cows are your thing, there's another great farm to visit, Sweetwater Valley Farms is a great little trip, you can go and do a farm tour and actually see the cows being milked, then go to the cheese shop and sample The made on site cheese ,then head on over to the restaurant and gift shop for a choice of several types of grilled cheese sandwiches and a milkshake , gifts & home decor items.
We are located less than a mile from the Lost Sea attraction, and within an hour from beautiful Bald River Falls and Cherohala Skyway Scenic Parkway, with Lots of other waterfalls, hiking trails and scenic views around the area, & the best roads around for motorcycling and so much more. We are 2 hours from Pigeon Forge and Sevierville TN, the home place of our favorite celebrity Dolly Parton!!! Come sit a while & relax and breathe in the Mountain Air!

What a beautiful, extremely well stocked home. We were there to visit my sister-in-law so we didn't do anything in the area. I did have a beautiful kitchen to make her a pot of soup. Would have loved to see The Lost Sea which is right up the street. It was nice to sit out on the side patio under a roof. Keep an eye out for the cows to come up the hill in the backyard in the afternoon, presumably for the shade. Also has a nice firepit area. Comfortable beds with bathroom off of each bedroom. FYI: The beds are a little high. I had my 86 year old mother with me. She is only 4'10" and couldn't get in the bed. Fortunately there is a sofa bed that she was able to use.We arrived in the dark and Carla's directions were spot on. Check in and out was smooth. I usually leave places better then I find them, but that was impossible here. It is very organized. I probably won't need a 2 bedroom house again, but if I do, I would love to stay again.Thank you Carla for your hospitality.

Loved our stay here. Feels out of the way but close to shopping and attractions. Clean and well stocked, the owners do a really fantastic job. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was exactly as advertised, went to several places nearby and thoroughly enjoyed the many places of interest. Carla was very friendly and answered a couple of questions I had in record time. Property was beautiful and could have spent entire time at house and been perfectly content. I will definitely stay here again.

We had a great time here. The house is so warm and welcoming, makes you really feel at home. The host was amazing, and super friendly. She responded very quickly to any questions we had. We highly recommend staying here if you are coming to the area. You will not be disappointed at all, and it is close enough to everything, but tucked away from it all. Loved every minute we spent here! It really provided the relaxation reset we needed from our non-stop busy lives back home. Thank you for a perfect stay!
