Everything was great. Murteza, the owner, is one of the nicest guy i ever meet. He is just doing everything for his guests to spent a great holyday. If tou are planning to go there, don’t hesitate to ask him about plces to visit, bays where you can swim, from where to buy local products from villagers etc.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in diesem wunderschön gelegenen Häuschen im Wald bei Mavikent/Karaöz sehr genossen. Die Lage ist ein echtes Highlight: Es ist das letzte Häuschen vor dem schönen Wanderweg zum Leuchtturm, umgeben von Natur, in Wassernähe, mit malerischen Badebuchten. Ein Bootsausflug zu einer nahegelegenen Insel (Suluada, türkische Malediven)war ein zusätzliches Highlight unseres Aufenthalts. Das Häuschen ist sehr geräumig und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Der Vermieter ist überaus hilfsbereit und sorgt dafür, dass man sich von der ersten Minute an willkommen fühlt. Wer die Natur abseits vom Massentourismus mag, ist hier herzlich willkommen. Auf dem Grundstück gibt es Hühner, und wir konnten sogar eine Schildkröte und Eidechsen beobachten – ein tolles Erlebnis! Die zahlreichen Granatapfelbäume waren leider noch nicht reif, was aber der wunderschönen Atmosphäre keinen Abbruch tat. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war ausgezeichnet. Wir können diese Unterkunft mit voller Überzeugung weiterempfehlen!

Great spot for walking.

We had a wonderful stay at Gelidonia Holiday Home. The place offered excellent value for the price, with comfortable rooms and everything you need to live in your holiday home. The location is also very convenient, within walking distance of the beach and close to the hiking to Lighthouse. It was a great base for exploring the area while still providing a relaxing place to unwind. The guesthouse itself was simple, cozy, and had an authentic local feel. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience and would gladly stay here again. Thank you to host for making our vacation so pleasant!

The closest beach was disappointing for us: it is a small, enclosed bay, and unfortunately it was full of trash. It seemed to be very popular with local families, but many visitors left garbage behind. There were also boats coming into the small bay, which made the sea entrance feel blocked and less pleasant for swimming. Because of that, we had to explore other, quieter beach options nearby.
