Excellent location for staying out of the busy city. We stayed 3 nights in Porto city centre then spent 5 nights at Portie Suites. Rooms are lovely, we stayed in one with access to terrace. Rooms cleaned daily.
The Tram stop is right outside. If you are active you can walk back into Porto (about 5km), good selection of places to stop and have a beer or cocktail to rehydrate along the way. Also Lime bikes/scooters outside. In the other direction are lots of sandy beaches. Great restaurants nearby and within walking distance, quiet and relaxing area. Great Uber access and very cheap if you want to head back to city centre.
Property was really lovely, it would be even better if the a corkscrew was available in rooms !

We had an excellent stay at portie.
It was super clean, very nice room and bathroom and super nice patio to chill outside, the colours where so comforting, the quality of everything and the design were amazing. Loved the shower.
The location was perfect for us. Close to the beach and very quiet. The start of the old tram way was just right in front of the hotel which was perfect.
With an uber ride it was just a 10 minute drive to porto center or really just anywhere that you wanna go.
The communication to the staff was perfect, nice and courteous. They were very helpful and caring.
The mattress was slightly firm and i wished it had a second blanket so you dont have to share just one. It gives me a better sleep. But thats really personal.

Location was great if you want to explore downtown Porto. You have the tram at the door and beach close by.
The expectation of the property being facing the river was completely the opposite. Our room was on the back end with a different building entrance. Had no view and the room felt small and had a bad smell from sewage. We were under the impression it was an hotel, but there was no reception or any facilities. No one met us upon check in is just like an Airbnb.
