The staff was extremely friendly, especially Finnas! They cooked amazing food (one of the best I tried in Cambodia) and made me feel like home. The place is beautiful and so peaceful, spending a night here feels so special.
Only little details : the mosquito net was not in great condition and it felt like there were bits of sand in the bedding. But compared to the rest, it's really minimal.

I loved my stay here and felt at home instantly. All the women and sisters were helpful and extremely friendly. The bungalow was a beautiful place to stay. I enjoyed the yoga mat to stretch on the decking of the bungalow each morning. The traditional Khmer spa experience is a must do when you stay here! I loved making a scrub with natural ingredients, the steam room, natural pond and relaxing massage. Tea was provided throughout my stay. The food was incredible! They catered easily to a vegan diet. I loved the drive out of Kampot as well and seeing more of the locals life here than just the city. 30min drive via Tuktuk. I was also very happy to contribute to a business that provides women with income and job skills. I hope to stay again in the future. Thank you Sisters for the most wonderful experience!

I wanted to stay even longer!! And I was so sad I had already my flights booked because otherwise I would have extended. I did the spa and stayed over 1 night. The entire experience is excellent! Definitely coming again. Ofcourse bear in mind you are in the middle of nowhere in huts surrounded by nature. So you go back to basics and you will cross paths with geckos, bugs, ants, etc. but that's all part of the experience! One with nature 💗🪷

This is essentially a day spa, mainly frequented by backpackers and others from Kampot. See separate review of the spa day. I stayed here for three nights. This is not really a homestay. It is staffed by ladies who don't actually live there. The ladies were polite and smiley but, unlike other people in Cambodia, didn't respond to google translate efforts to ask questions, etc. Which is a shame as the dinners were excellent - freshly prepared, fragrant and copious and I would have liked to have known more about the ingredients. The breakfasts were light - some fruit, a boiled egg and a little rice cake. A traditional Khmer noodle soup with the fruit would have suited me better... As a guest staying, there wasn't a communal area in which to sit out and read, relax etc. the only option was the hut's balcony, which didn't necessarily get the sun. And by the way the pond is a small patch of muddy water....
The manageress and the ladies who help her seemed to lack the ability to be helpful and understand what guests might want (this is nothing to do with their ability to speak English - the various translate apps make it easy to communicate). Any deviation from the expected, eg asking for dinner later than their usual time, was met with either blank looks or a negative response that came over as slightly aggressive.
I got the impression that this place is ultimately managed by a lady who lives in Canada. I didn't see much evidence of the local women's empowerment project mentioned on their website.
